Happy birthday to the great Doug Gillard of Guided by Voices and beyond. He’s crazy good, like, « Fuck it I quit » good. Pictured here several years ago sandwiched between Tom and Axe Lords alum Matthew Caws of Nada Surf.

Listen, everybody: No one has a harsher, more punishing internal critic than this queen. But I'm here to tell you. We have spent the last year or so making a record. And I am telling you it is done and it is good. My internal critic has recently RAVED, and I quote, "my favorite!" Here are some photos I took of us being beautiful creators. Ones to watch. I can't wait for you to hear these 11 songs.
