You think you’re up for the LTAC Night Fighter Challenge?
In the Spirit of the Pennsylvania Light Fighter Challenge, on March 12 Lodestone is holding this unique event that will push your abilities to operate at night. This is our 4th year running the Night Fighter Challenge. It will require the use of flashlights, lasers and night vision as you are tested in the environment of darkness.
The Night Fighter Challenge starts with a timed ruck along an approximately 3-mile trail using Night Vision. The path will be a trail over rugged terrain with elevation changes.
At the completion of the hike, you will go through an approximately 1 ½ mile-long course with different stages. Some stages will include Shooting with white light, Shooting with NODs and lasers, and passive. There will be individual CQB, Tac-Med, and other stages, all being run in the dark. The culminating stage will be Escape and Evasion combined with land navigation. There will be prizes for the top 10 competitors. This is the chance to challenge yourself at night.
Due to the nature of this event and the logistics to run it, there is limited seats to compete. For more information and to register, go to the Lodestone website. #lodestone #principlebasedtraining #nightfighter #nods #lodestonetac

Recently spent some quality time training at night. It’s amazing to realize how far I’ve come in the world of night vision. From jumping into JRTC with a PVS-7D so many years ago to now regularly teaching others how to get the most out of their systems. I run all kinds of low-light classes Including a MPOETC approved Night Vision Firearms Instructor course.
I don’t miss those 7Ds. #lodestone #principlebasedtraining #nightvision #nvd #keeptraining

Jared’s also rocking last year’s @eastcoastnightshoot shirt. It is only a few weeks away! Can’t wait. #lodestone #principlebasedtraining #putinthework #lightfighter #lodestonetac

Yesterday marked 19 years of Class 262 securing from SQT. It was the end of a long chapter, and the beginning of a new era full of lots of highs and lows. Though my time in the SEAL Teams was a small portion of my life now, what was gained from it is something that will always be a part of my spirit and was a time of constant learning and growing.

One of the biggest struggles that veterans today face, is finding a new identity outside of the one they knew while on active duty. To this day it’s still something keeps me awake at night. But it’s a must needed change.

It can be extremely scary to start that new chapter and to see how it will all unfold, but with every good story, each page turned will bring new possibilities and opportunities. If there’s any advice I can give to those stuck in the same place is it’s time to take that first step towards a new beginning.

So many of my friendships today, people I’ve been able to work alongside, amazing brands and companies that I’ve had the privilege to work with, being in big motion pictures and tv shows, and experiences that have come my way over the last decade have all been possible because of my time in the Teams.

There will be many struggles and obstacles you don’t see coming, but know there will also be breakthrough and discovery. New identity doesn’t mean you let go of all that came before. It means you get to take what you once knew and mold it into something far greater for a better future. You get to take your past experiences and build it into something better than you imagined for yourself and your family.

As the time passes and the years get shorter, you will once look back and see that what you have accomplished will have been well worth the efforts. To all you guys that have been a part of this crazy journey, much love and here’s to tomorrow.
