The Pacific coast is one big damn amusement park.
This was a fun ride. This rocky inlet in Laguna Beach channels the waters into a nice size seacave. If you jump into a passing swell, it can be eight or nine feet to the bottom. Be careful of the strong current slamming you into underwater boulders though! 😥

Like my life recently, today’s weather has been all over the place; from sunny skies, to dark and stormy with hail and enough rain to consume all visibility. But despite all of it, my focus is on the blue sky off in the distance. I see the way it touches the trees, and I know it won’t be long till the clouds move and I’m standing in that light too. For all of you struggling, there is hope.
If you’re wondering what this picture has to do with that, I would say, “Nothing.” Just a stormy day in the forest, but it is one of my favorite pictures that I’ve taken and I wanted to share it with you. Probably doesn’t look like much low resolution on your phone, but full size on the computer, it is everything I want my photography to be. Someday, when I finally sell prints, it will be available to purchase.
As for this place, @nwsatire was kind enough to take me here, and the only person I’ve ever told where it is, is my sister, and she lives in Arizona. Some places are better left quiet.
Wishing you all a moment of peace as the storm systems of life build and then pass us by.
