POSTS STORIES REELS TAGGED

With women directing under 11% of top films, and fewer than 15% of popular movies featuring a gender-balanced cast, pushing for equal representation in cinema is more important than ever. NWFFest holds a special place for us here at CineVega, and you can submit for both fests RIGHT NOW!

Catch @nwffest at CineVega and don’t forget to catch their next fest in March!

See you there 😎🌴🌴🌴🤘🏻

Lolly Dagger Eats Sponge Cake has had an insane festival run! Directed/Written/Edited/Produced by @newchaos85, who was also a one-man-crew on set! I was honored to lead the film and help produce it. Acting alongside @felicityannalyce and @r.j.cronin was incredible, they are both amazingly talented actresses💜 We won Best Comedy at @tinffestival, which is a Canadian Screen Award-qualifying festival, in addition to having the pleasure of screening the film in our home state at the @nwffest this past summer as a Best Picture nominee. I’m so grateful for all the recognition our labor of love is getting, as well as the wonderful connections we’ve made during this festival run! We did it! 👏🏼💜 #Film #IndieFilm #Actress #UnsignedActress #FilmFestival

BIG ANNOUNCEMENT: We submitted to Sofia Coppola’s grant and we need a little help from friends and family 🥹👉👈 We need you! ❤️

Please vote for Gamu-Gamo! The grant uses a voting system and the top voted films get reviewed by the judges, including Sofia. This means if we don’t reach a strong vote count, the production won’t
get reviewed at all. 🥺

We know this is such a huge favor to ask as it requires you to create an account. We truly appreciate your time and support. Voting is completely free! Just follow our instructions on the next slide :) Link in our bio to vote.

Please share with family and friends. Every vote makes a difference!
