POSTS STORIES REELS TAGGED

Huuuge thank you to @nwfearfest for selecting my @macplantdraws artwork after their contest to be used on the passes and posters this year! Very excited and grateful for the opportunity!

They have a ton of movies showing (and they’re not all super scary ones) from Oct 14-Oct 18 showing at @themetrocinema (I will partake in some of the less scary ones because I’m a sissy. Sorry, Cannibal Holocaust)

A great chance to visit The Garneau Theatre which is such a cool venue! Please share this for them to help promote such a legendary place!

Also go check out @roxanaxenia for the winning poster submission for the contest, and to see her great work!

One of the best home-cooked meals I’ve ever had. Thank you Chef Josè for inviting me to your home and sharing a phenomenally prepared seafood paella with your family. On a school night too! The people of Edmonton have been so good to me. #paella #homemade #scallops #spanishcuisine #travel

Canadian Screen Awards voting ends today.

We’re incredibly grateful for the response Tootoo has received, and to be in the conversation for “Best Documentary Program” is something we don’t take lightly.

If you’re a voting member, your support would truly mean a lot to our team.

Thank you

ABOUT THE WORKSHOP

ABOUT THE FILM

Created by local filmmakers Sandro Silva (Director) and Sheena Rossiter (Producer), The Perfect Match follows Jacob, who upon learning his toddler son Ezra has a rare form of cancer, launches the Swab 4 Ezra campaign, urging more people —, especially Black Canadians —to register as stem cell donors. Their journeys reveal how personal struggle can spark a powerful movement to save lives.

We are grateful for BIPOC Media Lab support from:

Project Funder: @edmontoncommunityfoundation
Supporter: John Humphrey Centre for Peace & Human Rights @jhcentre
Venue Partner: @MacEwanU, Department of Communications @macewan.communication

BIPOC Media Lab presented by #FascinAsianEdmonton, helps underrepresented creators (Black, Indigenous, People of Colour) in Edmonton connect with local media pros, organizations and spaces through FREE hands-on training workshops led by industry experts.
