During Covid my girls received IPSY gift boxes every month. They totally enjoyed being the recipients of unknown gift items. After receiving their June 2020 gift box, they thought other women would also enjoy the receiving the same and wondered how they could share the joy. So, we commenced thinking about how we could share this experience with women experiencing transitional housing. The girls researched the needs of women in temporary housing facilities and then asked various groups for donations. They purchased items they assessed the women needed and or liked. Next, they prepared the gift bags, and located a housing facility for women in our neighborhood. Unfortunately, Karina had to return home before we could make this year’s delivery. Last week, however, Nyla made another delivery to one of our neighborhood facilities before she returned to school. #Forthegirls #Womenhelpingwomen
