🎉 Ringing in 2024 with Stuntworks’ New Year Special! 🥳 Wishing everyone a joyful holiday season and a fantastic New Year ahead. The team and I had a blast filming our latest project, born from a spontaneous, last-minute spark of creativity. It was an exhilarating challenge to bring this silly holiday special to life, especially with it being a last minute idea and our individual holiday plans. Despite the time crunch and the initial concern over limited footage, the creative process of editing was thoroughly enjoyable. After overcoming a minor setback with my computer crash, I was inspired to craft the footage into a movie-trailer style edit – attempting to create a true cinematic experience. Eager to hear your thoughts – did we manage to save the day with this edit? Let me know! 🌟

Special Halloween Screening Invitation

Friends, family, and all who have been touched by Rev Dr Marcos A Miranda’s remarkable journey, I warmly invite you to witness one of his last and funniest performances as an actor in our film, Vamp Nite.

Before Marcos answered his divine calling to serve the community at Action Christ International Church and founded the New York State Chaplain Task Force Organization, he was deeply passionate about martial arts, filmmaking, and was an avid horror film buff. He brought these passions to life in various projects, taking roles as a dedicated producer and gifted actor.

Over the past two years, Marcos and I have poured our hearts into our film projects. Our intense gym sessions highlighted Marcos’ determination, with him shedding over a hundred pounds, motivating me every step of the way. This film not only showcases his acting prowess but also his undying spirit. With his humor and charm, Marcos delivers a truly unforgettable performance.

With a heavy heart and tears in my eyes, I must inform the heartbreaking news that my closest friend passed away on October 29, 2023. During these past few months, our industry has seen a strike that brought us together in a unique way. Marcos and I seized this opportunity to collaborate on our film projects, but more importantly, we shared cherished moments: working out, watching movies, and brainstorming creative ventures. His remarkable dedication led to significant personal goals he lost over a hundred pounds. I am immensely grateful for the precious time we spent together during this period, which I wouldn’t have had due to my typically erratic film industry schedule. 🙏😭😇 #rip

SWEEPING DEFENDER - Drama unfolds in the mean streets of New York warehouse. Where a quiet maintenance man finds himself thrust into an unexpected battle to defend an unknown woman. But as the events escalate, it becomes clear that not everything, or everyone, is as they seem. We shot with the Panasonic GH5. The Stuntworks Team and I wanted to try to shoot a fight scene as a Oner. In filmmaking, a “oner” refers to a long take that lasts for an entire scene or sequence. Also, I really wanted to test a new Plugin Dehancer. Dehancer is a powerful plugin known for its film emulation capabilities, allowing users to reproduce the authentic color, grain, and other attributes of classic and contemporary film stocks. Dehancer Colourist Awards if you are interested in some cash prizes, and lifetime licenses for Dehancer. It’s not really a Oner, there three cuts it the sequence.
