✨“Run across the room, raise your hands - step. The body is a vessel for praise, use it with all your might. Let it shutter in your bones like fire. Like fire, run! For you are free! Freedom is in that name. Healing is in that name. Power is in that name. Shout it - for there is something about that name.”

Something About That Name, now published ✨

Super proud of this piece and the vulnerability I allowed myself to have and pour over the pages. Thank you to my team and editors in @sparkmagazinetx for helping bring this piece to life. Cheers to publication # 4 !! 💅🏾🥂🌟

“greatness is what we on the brink of.” -Onika Maraj

this is my moment 4 life. i’ve always had an appreciation for the arts, writing, drawing, etc. and i thrive off creativity. but for the past 6 months i took a creative hiatus. feeling uninspired, unmotivated to produce anything of substance. i’m thankful for the people who encouraged me to join this magazine and believed in my capabilities more than myself. & i’m incredibly grateful for the opportunity to work with talented creatives on this project. this is my first writing publication, EVER! i had the time of my life, glad to see my visions brought into reality, and proud to see my culture on the map. a dream come true fr🫶🇬🇭❤️
