“Blue Dress” - Captured this shot during a visit to The Met, was drawn in by the contrast of the woman in the blue dress against the backdrop of the arches, as well as the glow of the lighting and the blue backdrop. / Mon Jul 7th 2025

✨ POV: Surviving a New York winter when you grew up in the middle of Ecuador ☀️➡️❄️
I used to think this kind of cold was impossible for me. -15 degrees feels like the kind of temperature your soul argues with. Coming from warm, steady weather all year, winter once felt like something I would never adapt to.
But today at Belvedere Castle during golden hour, with snow, silence, and not a single person around… something shifted. ✨🏰❄️

I opened my journal at Belvedere Castle and wrote through my three full pages until the cold didn’t feel like the enemy anymore.

My prompt of the day was:
📝 How are you learning to adapt to environments that once felt impossible, and who are you becoming in the process?

By the time I finished writing, I realized that winter hasn’t been working against me, it’s been shaping me. I also sipped the cold air, and started reading Mind Over Medicine by Lissa Rankin, M.D.

Moments like this make you listen to yourself in a completely different way. @centralparknyc was glowing, quiet, unreal. Sometimes the cold shocks you awake just enough to remind you of your resilience and how far you’ve come. 💛

Living in this northern nation has taught me strength, patience, and softness. And today, I let myself feel proud of that. ❤️

If this resonated, save it, follow me, and tell me in the comments how winter has shaped you too. ❄️📝✨

New York is not for everyone. 🗽
It will either wake you up… ⚡️ or wear you down. 🥀

Driving toward the skyline and still having that “wait… this is really my life?” moment. 🚗✨
NYC on the horizon… 🌆 gratitude in my chest 💛 and my heart goes bum bum bum 💓💓💓 the second the city shows up. Heading toward the skyline that has been in a million scenes… now in my windshield… and I get to call it home. 🗽✨🚗💫

If you love real life + real growth (mindful city living, travel, and the inner work behind the glow-up), follow me. I post what most people feel but never say.

“Chef” - Captured this shot during a photo walk in Chinatown. The many objects around the chef in the foreground & background frame him nicely. The absence of a face creates a mysterious vibe (I think so at least), as if it could be anyone. / Sun Apr 13th 2025

“Winter Scarf” - This photo was more of a reflex shot, had just started walking through Central Park, saw them on their phone, scarf wrapped around perfectly, creating an intriguing shape & texture with great colors. / Fri Jan 2nd 2026

“City Lights” - Went out looking for a holiday lights photo & came back w/ this… the stream of city lights as I traced the car w/ my camera was too enticing not to post. The orange lights are actually from a Christmas tree on the median. / Thu Dec 11th 2025

“Sky Bridge” - On a photo walk around dusk I noticed this contrail that was lit up w/ a faint orange glow. It was long enough to “connect” the buildings on both sides of the street. The building themselves have a great amount of detail that enhance this picture. / Thu Oct 2nd 2025
