![sometimes I take the long way to the train late at night. it helps clear the head. more often than not I do it to remind myself of how grateful I am to be at this point in my life. the "scenic" route reminds me that I am living in the city that I've dreamed of moving to since high school. I am ACTIVELY pursuing everything I've prayed for. I'm surrounded by art and culture and opportunity that I honestly get overwhelmed. I've met people that change my life forever. I've held on to friendships started in middle school, I've struggled, I've cried, been to my last dime and have made more money then I thought possible as a starving artist. I take the "scenic" route to enchance my gratitude to God, the universe, my own energies, the energies of others. Take time out of your day to sit, and be, and remind yourself...... Not everything is going to go how you want it, lord knows 😔 but it'll work, or it will force you to. Be grateful IG Be well and love !
