Robinson and Brian Quijada bring that lesser-known history to life through hip-hop, live looping, and a story of people helping one another find freedom. Nygel explores ancestral resilience, solidarity across borders, and how small acts of courage can become a movement, on the next episode of Resiliency The Podcast. It all started with a song. Now, the magic is coming to the stage! “Heart to Heart” was the first song Nygel D. Robinson wrote a few years ago after Stevie Walker-Webb and Ken-Matt Martin came to him with the idea for CHARMZ: The Other Reindeer. Now, you can experience that song in a whole new way with the OFFICIAL MUSIC VIDEO! And the countdown is ON! Performances of Baltimore Center Stage’s brand-new holiday musical begin in ONE MONTH, on Nov 13. Get ready for soulful music, big moves, and a reindeer adventure like no other. Watch the official “Heart to Heart” music video, then get your tickets for CHARMZ: The Other Reindeer at centerstage.org! #CharmzTheOtherReindeer #BaltimoreCenterStage #HeartToHeart #HolidayMusical

My favorite part of a new musical is seeing a creator see and hear their hard work realized - especially with the talent I heard in that room! Charmz: The Other Reindeer is a new Christmas musical that pulls inspiration from Mowtown’s best and is so black!!! With music by Mexodus co-writer and performer, Nygel D. Robinson and written by Baltimore Center Stage Executive Director Ken-Matt Martin 🎄🎅🏿 Thank you Ken-Matt Martin and Baltimore Center Stage for letting me be a part of the process for this! #new #musical #christmas #rehearsal #fyp
