𝘊𝘰𝘮𝘪𝘯𝘨 𝘰𝘧 𝘈𝘨𝘦 by @aydan.hiill

for the past 2 years, Aydan and I have been working on this album, shaping its concept, visual world, and the story you’ve been watching unfold.

this project marks a turning point for me, not only as an artist manager but also as a person that’s why it has a special place in my heart.

this album has traveled with me through Paris and Rome, between St. Petersburg and Moscow, and, of course, Boston and New York. it became a part of my own journey too.
neither of us knows how to live without constantly moving, exploring, and finding inspiration in the world around us.

watching Aydan grow as an artist while helping guide and shape his vision has been one of the most rewarding experiences of my life. we’ve built a creative connection that allowed us to find pieces of ourselves in each other’s ideas. but it was Aydan who brought it all to life.

there’s so much of me in this album: my experiences, my perspective, and the way I see the world.
I see myself in it. maybe you’ll see a little bit of yourself too:)

and to everyone who has been part of this project in any way, thank you. YOU are all incredibly talented, and I’m so grateful I got to create something alongside you.

Coming of Age is yours now!

Fair fighttt it’s been a week

Started this one together with @cosanostrapr back sometimes at the end of April. The idea we started got me really inspired and I ended up recording the demo of the chorus that same night. I sang almost the same melody as what you hear in the song now. I kinda mumbled through most of it but I sang “all I want is a fair fight, all you want is a..” super clear from the jump, and that really gave the song direction. It was honestly pouring out of me naturally, and I knew what I needed to say. After that demo, I knew this was the song I wanted to be the next single.

I then tracked some synths and the upright in studio e, and asked @llanfair_ to hop on drums for the second verse.

I came to @johnthesourdough with the song, and explained to him the conflict within me and this song that drove the narrative, and after a few hours we had a concept for what we wanted to shoot and and an idea of how to put these feelings on film. Had a lot of fun shooting at sunrise in downtown with @nylalynjones We had some film left over afterwards, and we shot it together with Nyla and @miapearlbranson as a semi spontaneous shoot on a friend’s rooftop.

Aaaand as I’ve mentioned before, we shot a quick run & gun video for this song with @yeni.walker and @dariakrasnozhon on some cool lenses while I was in New York.
