We had an amazing time at the SPS Zone 4 Meeting at Radford University! 🌌✨

Day 1 was packed with fun, from exploring the geology exhibit to experiencing a planetarium show, plus a competitive round of physics Jeopardy and Kahoot 🔬

Day 2 was all about connection and growth. We networked, participated in a resume-building session, and explored a wide range of research during the poster session with students from different schools. Huge shoutout to our very own David Mugisha for presenting on behalf of our chapter! 👏

We even got hands-on and created cosmic rays using a cup, sponge, alcohol, and dry ice 🤯

To wrap it all up, each university shared their chapter’s events and accomplishments, so inspiring to see what everyone is doing! 🚀

🧡💙Introducing the 2025–2026 2MBC Executive Board! 💙🧡

We are excited to welcome this year’s leaders who will continue to carry out the mission of the Minnesota Mentorship for Black Colleges (2MBC): creating spaces of connection, support, and growth for Black students pursuing higher education.

At 2MBC, we know mentorship is more than guidance—it’s about building community, passing down knowledge, and ensuring that no student has to walk their journey alone. Our executive board is committed to making sure that every mentee has the resources, encouragement, and support system they need to thrive.

Here’s to a year of leadership, service, and mentorship that uplifts the next generation.
