Mama,

You were the most beautiful woman in my life, inside and out. You were my first love, my protector, and my safe place. From the very beginning, you made sure I was cared for, loved, and protected.

I know I didn’t always make things easy for you. I wasn’t the perfect child. I made mistakes, got into trouble, made bad decisions, and brought more stress to you and Dad than I ever should have. Yet through it all, you never stopped loving me. You never gave up on me, even when I gave up on myself.

You always saw the best in me and believed in my potential long before I could see it for myself. Whenever I fell, you were there to help me back up.

I spent my life trying to make you happy and proud of the man you helped create. You prayed over me every day of my life, adding a layer of protection that I truly believe has carried me through some of my darkest and most difficult moments. You never let me forget that Jesus sees everything, and that character is defined by who we are when no one else is watching.

As I enter this new season of life without you, I find myself wishing I could have done more, wondering if I could have been better, and replaying moments in my mind. But deep down, I know I gave you the very best I had, just as you gave me the very best of yourself.

Words will never fully express how grateful I am to have been blessed with you as my mother. You gave me more love than any son could ever ask for, and I felt that love every single day because you never stopped showing it.

Thank you for your sacrifices, your prayers, your faith, your guidance, and your unconditional love.

I will miss you every day until the day you can hold me again.

I love you, Mama.
Forever and always.
