I had a big moment of gratitude yesterday. I go through phases of taking my lifestyle for granted, and then every now and again, it all comes back and hits me. I haven’t had a boss or worked a 9–5 for over nine years now. I’ve been able to wake up every day with my family, never miss the important milestones in my kids’ lives, sleep in when I’m tired, and never have to ask permission to take a day off or decide when I want to have lunch. Yesterday, the sun was shining and I got to spend my day exactly how I wanted to. A slow morning with breakfast, some housework, maintenance around the investment property, a midday walk with my wife, marking up the charts and planning my trades, a solid workout to start the week, then finishing the day shooting hoops with my son and going for a walk with the family. It’s easy to get caught up in what you’re working towards and forget to appreciate what you already have. I’ve also been really locked in with my health and fitness lately, and I’m feeling good. My wife and I have set ourselves a goal to work on our body recomposition over the next 12 weeks, so we’ll see how that goes! I really need to press record more often and capture these everyday moments. #lifestylecreator #personalgrowth #nzcreatives #dailyvlog

Thank you to whoever nominated me for the Creator Impact Awards. 🙏 I genuinely appreciate you taking the time to do that. Receiving the email to say I’d been nominated honestly felt like winning the award itself. I’m not expecting to win, especially knowing there are so many incredible creators out there doing amazing things. But as someone who can be their own worst critic, especially when it comes to my content, this nomination was a much-needed reminder. A reminder to stay locked in, worry less about how my content is performing, and focus more on the impact it might have on someone, whether that impact is big or small. At the end of the day, the numbers don’t always tell the full story. Sometimes, the real impact is happening in ways we’ll never even know about. So, whoever you are, thank you. This meant more than you probably realise. ❤️🙏 #creatorimpactawards #nzcontentcreator @nzcreatorcon
