Getting stoned on a Sunday again with the lads 🤙 120kg to shoulder was the goal for the day . Got it . Fucking Grateful for the training partners and mates that drive me forward.

2020. 🔥

COVID hit.
The Easter Show was cancelled.
The plan changed completely.

So we pivoted.

We moved the comp to the gym, worked with what we had and made it happen anyway.

Because sometimes running a great event isn’t about everything going to plan.

It’s about what you do when it doesn’t.

Six years later, that hasn’t changed.

One week out from NZ’s Strongest Man & Woman 2026 — and one thing we know how to do is adapt, find a way and put on a show. 👊

From a gym in 2020 to Cathedral Square in 2026.

⚡ SATURDAY 19 SEPTEMBER
⚡ CATHEDRAL SQUARE, CHRISTCHURCH
⚡ 8:30AM

Whatever it takes.

ONE WEEK TO GO. 🔥
