I can't believe it's not AI 🤯 This is a real treehouse outside of Santa Cruz, in Boony Doon, California. You can sleep, swaying & suspended in the redwood forest trees after climbing up a 30ft ladder. Down below, a separate bridge leads you to a hot shower with a forest view. It's even outfitted with a queen bed, heater, bungee-cord room & picnic grill area. Talk about the dream Airbnb. You too can stay in this gem @o2_treehouse and say I slept in a pinecone, swaying amongst fellow redwood trees. 🌲😴

Moonhaven went up! 🌙

If you’ve ever taken 20 photos of the same thing because the next angle might be even better… that’s what our camera rolls look like right now.

During build weeks 3-5, the remaining exterior panels went on and the interior floor joists went in. Then came the moment we’ve been waiting to share: Moonhaven reached its final height of 35 feet. Next up: Bottom Stilts!

Seeing it up among the branches, I keep thinking about the first night someone will spend here. Imagine getting into bed and realizing you can watch the stars without even lifting your head from the pillow. That’s the part I can’t wait for you to experience.

This was the side quest location we didn’t know we needed. 🌲

Hidden high in the redwood forest near Santa Cruz, California, the Pinecone Treehouse is suspended among the trees with 360-degree views of the surrounding canopy.

You reach it by climbing a 30-foot ladder, then wake up inside what feels like a giant pinecone floating in the forest. There’s a cozy queen bed inside, plus a separate forest-view bathroom connected by a catwalk.

It was easily one of the most unusual places we’ve ever stayed.

This is the week Moonhaven started looking less like a collection of very large pieces and more like the place we’ve had in our heads for years.

Every time I walk outside, something has changed—and this week, you can finally begin to see its shape. The strange part is standing underneath it and realizing that someday soon, two people will be sleeping, stargazing, and waking up in the trees right above this spot.
