Peter Gunz traces NYC street music's role in hip-hop's birth in the Bronx during the 1970s, meeting Onyx's Fredro Starr and Colombian-American violinist La Lulu for an impromptu street jam that bridges generations.

History and Street Music is a reaction to the over implication of who is allowed to make what kind of art.
There are culture-vultures, cornballs and humans who just jack other artists’ styles, sounds, cultural identity and musical originality- And, FTHEM.
There are also artists who are inspired by other art and utilize it as motivation to pay homage to the artists or the style or create their own music.
Let’s take the handcuffs off of creation and use the binding power of music to unite us rather than participate in culture wars, as we explore and document old and new paradigm shifts in music that derive from multicultural unification and collective creation.
