Kristen has a birthday tradition we all need in our lives 😍😍

Every year, she makes her birthday about intention, gathering the women who’ve shaped different chapters of her life and bringing them together to share a new experience.

Last week I had the honor of teaching a private @sipandscript modern calligraphy class for her 33rd at the beautiful @oakandrosetearoom in Geneva. Seven of her closest friends, enjoying tea, bubbly, light bites, followed by a creative class.

Getting to hand these women a pen and watch them slow down and create side by side? A gift for me. Honestly, It could have been my birthday 😅

A heartfelt thank you to my calligra-friend @xoartanddesign for trusting me to step in and lead this one. And to Kristen, for the reminder that the most meaningful celebrations are the ones we build with intention. 🤍

If this is the kind of afternoon your heart’s craving - good company, a slower pace, a new skill in hand, join one of my upcoming classes!

Every class includes:
✍️ A beginner calligraphy kit to take home
🥂 Hands-on instruction + a take-home project
🤍 Light bites and a drink
✨ A genuinely fun, memorable afternoon

Join an upcoming class or reach out to book a private one for your people. link in bio to save your seat.

Love & letters,
Elyse

In case you need me, I’ll be here @oakandrosetearoom , sipping freshly steeped tea and enjoying all the tea-time treats.

Just kidding… I’m actually really busy and have sooo much to catch you up on. 😂

But first, Madison’s bridal shower, which was perfect to a T(ea). (See what I did there? 😉)

I seriously cannot wait to celebrate her and Sebastian later this year. 🤍

Our June Social Table looked straight out of a fairytale.

Tucked among the blooms, surrounded by tea, savory treats, sweet bites, and thoughtful conversation, we gathered for an afternoon that felt a little magical.

A special thank you to Oak & Rose Tea Room and Vanessa for helping bring this enchanting afternoon to life. Your hospitality, attention to detail, and beautiful setting made our Secret Garden Tea Party one to remember.

Thank you to everyone who joined us and added their own sparkle to the day. We loved watching new connections bloom around the table.

Ready to make new friends in the western suburbs? We’ll save you a seat.
