This is the place that made me fall in love with golf 🏌️

Nobody tells you this about the game. It’s not really about the score. It’s the mornings. The quiet before the first tee. Standing on a tee box at @oakquarry , looking down into that canyon and for one second, everything you’re carrying from the week just… goes silent.

I didn’t grow up on courses like this. First time I saw this place, I got it. A game you can chase your whole life and never master and I think that’s the point. You don’t fall in love with things you’ve figured out. You fall in love with the chase.

15.6 handicap. Chasing single digits. Still falling in love with it every single round.

Hit it 290 off the tee. 185 to the pin, 7-iron in hand, birdie in my head… topped it.

Chipped it to the fringe, Texas wedge for the birdie look, tap-in par.

Be honest — which one are you: the 290 drive, or the topped 7-iron right after?
