You’re really missing out if you haven’t picked up the spicy, cheesy, umami Schicimi Togarashi Focaccia above. ❤️‍🔥

Don’t forget about the delightfully citrusy Paloma Sugar Croissant Swirl, where flaky croissant layers hide a wonderful grapefruit curd inside. 💫

Headed into the city this morning to celebrate @ritualcoffee and their new cafe location at 259 California St. And we ordered their Oak & Apple which uses our Gravenstein Apple Butter and it is 🤌🏻 - the perfect combination of their delicious coffee, apple flavor and warm apple pie spices from @oaktownspice. Partnering with local businesses is one of the best parts of this job. Congratulations Ritual on a beautiful new location. 🌁🏙️

This week Chez Panisse is celebrating 15 years of @oaktownspice with a collaborative dish on the Café menu.

@oaktownspice Ras el hanout grilled chicken with @seven_moons_farm autumn squash purée, gingery greens, and a yogurt made with cilantro, mint and preserved lemon.

Chez Panisse has been using Oaktown Spice Shop spices since Oaktown first opened its doors. Early on, our chefs were invited to visit and sample their spices and were immediately impressed by the quality and variety they offered. We are excited to support a local business and have been proud to use Oaktown Spice Shop spices in our kitchens ever since.

We like our Sunday mornings slow and easy.

This morning’s breakfast was inspired by @ottolenghi ‘s braised eggs with leeks and za’atar.

Organic leeks, a generous handful of greens, pasture-raised eggs, and creamy feta from @organicvalley. Finished with fragrant za’atar and a sprinkle of Aleppo pepper from our neighborhood favorite, @oaktownspice.

Simple, yet so flavorful. Another Ottolenghi recipe that’s easy to make and even easier to enjoy.

🍁 Sweet, smoky, and a little salty. Say hello to our Smoked Salt Maple Latte, created to celebrate 15 years of our friends at @oaktownspice!

Made with rich maple caramel featuring Oaktown Spice Shop’s Applewood Smoked Sea Salt, @mrespressooak’s signature Neapolitan espresso, and milk, this latte brings together the sweetness of maple with a subtle smokiness that balances the richness of the drink. It’s then sprinkled with more smoked salt to bring it all together.

Oaktown Spice Shop has been part of The Caffè since the beginning, with their spices helping us create some of our most-loved drinks. We’re grateful to have such great Oakland neighbors and collaborators who share our appreciation for quality ingredients.

Happy 15th anniversary, @oaktownspice! 🧡

Our Smoked Salt Maple Latte is available for one week only, October 19 - 24. Come give it a try!

You know that first bite that makes your brain go KAPOW from the savory fireworks? That is MAMA’s meatball sandwich for you.

She’s juicy, she’s goopy and she’s messy.
But we know that’s the criteria of a good freaking sandwich. Order her for dinner from our link in bio 🔥

Let’s get a close up on our Paloma Sugar Croissant Swirl 💫

Unbelievably flaky layers of croissant get swirled and filled with a grapefruit curd, but the real star of the show is the @oaktownspice Paloma Sugar dusted on top! A blend of grapefruit, strawberry, and lime for that sweet citrus pop 🍋‍🟩

This special is made in celebration of Oaktown’s 15th anniversary and available at our bakery Fri, Sat, and Sun this month.
