I BELIEVE IN THE VILLAGE ✔️

Might not have the right words for the absolute whirlwind of an opening weekend we’ve had just yet, but I’ll try and find them soon. Nashville, YOU WILL ALWAYS RULE. You showed up big time. A million and one thank you’s are due, but there ain’t near enough room in one caption for that exhaustive list :’)

We, along with @earl.espresso , will be CLOSED TOMORROW (MONDAY 10/5) to do some shop shuffling and ordering to fill these emptying shelves. Maybe even a nap somewhere in there, hehe.

Back to our REGULAR HOURS, OPEN DAILY 8-8 from Tuesday on.

THANK YOU

Grateful to @jemalero for capturing the vibes so perfectly with her photos — LUCKY US

For larger installations, we work in two phases.

Day one: unbox, place, and begin to see how everything interacts with the space.

Day two: return with extra inventory, fresh eyes, and make adjustments to scale, placement, and composition.

Because plants are part of the interior, we consider every detail. From the plant and its vessel to its relationship with the furniture, architecture, light, and even the groundcover that finishes it.

Designed to feel like it was always meant to be there.

Thank you @midnight.swim.studios.

Welcome to the team, Mars! 🌿

With a background in plant care, cultivation, and florals, Mars brings a thoughtful mix of hands-on horticultural experience and creative instinct to Oasis. Her experience spans seasonal growing, pruning, propagation, pest management, and ongoing plant care, alongside floral and installation work that has shaped her strong eye for composition and detail.

She’s a natural problem-solver who understands that working with plants often takes observation, patience, and a little trial and error — something we value deeply around here.

We’re so happy you’re here, Mars!

we are so excited to introduce our new series, Women in Business, where we will explore what it’s like running a business with some of our favorite entrepreneurs!

we feel so lucky to have so many wonderful and interesting clients — many of them fellow small business owners right here in East Nashville. inspired by many salon chats, it gave us the idea to start this little series highlighting the wonderful women (and hands) we’re lucky enough to take care of, and share a little more about where those hands go and what they do everyday.

our first feature is highlighting Taylor Small! Taylor is the founder & creative director of Oasis Design. she is the true definition of hands-on (with a mani by Cured of course), using her green thumb to make some of your favorite places in town more beautiful. an all around creative, Taylor digs into all things plants, community, and self care.🌱

THE ARTIST — THE ART

A beautiful installation is only the beginning. What keeps our work looking as good as it did on day one is the talented team behind it all. Watering, pruning, cleaning, treating, rotating, replacing, noticing.

The kind of care that makes all the difference.

A question from a panel I was asked to participate in stuck with me: How has your definition of success shifted?

I used to measure it by dollars through the door, clients acquired, portfolio of projects, etc. But these days, the real meaning of it all has settled in. The success of Oasis is measured by the people along for the ride.

How incredibly lucky we are to learn from one another. To appeal to talented, hilarious humans who believe, maybe even just a little bit, in the vision I have for this business of mine.

At the risk of living up to my superlative (gift of gab), I’ll wrap up the sap. The joys and challenges that come with this are unparalleled.

So, thank you to the people [past and present] who help carry the load when it feels heavy, and who celebrate the wins when the good times roll in. I wouldn’t want to do it with anyone else.

Interior details at Drift. ✨️

The best spaces are built in the details. We started bringing soul into this boutique hotel one thoughtful moment at a time, from the striking walnut ceiling to the rich jewel-toned velvets, warm wood accents, terrazzo flooring, and layered textures throughout. Cozy and inviting by day, effortlessly cool by night, the lobby transforms from a café and coworking hub into a vibrant lounge, proving that great design evolves with the people who use it!
