With all the craziness happen in my home city of LA, the only lasting attention should be on Jesus. The only one seated on the throne and reigning in my life. BIRTHDAY POST! 1st Birthday in LA😭‼️👏🏾Let’s talk about it 🥹🫡👀(19 things I’ve learned in this last year, keep swiping ➡️)

This past year has tested me in every way possible yall, emotionally, financially and spiritually. But I’m still here. I’m still pushing. I’m learning everyday what I’m capable of and I think it’s necessary to list alongside a few things I’ve learned, the things I’m proud of…⬇️

11 is my favorite #! Here are 11 things I’m proud and grateful of from my last birthday to now!

1️⃣ Moving to LA and making it work, regardless of the situation
2️⃣ Booking a music video and a live performance at @intuitdome , alongside two big jobs that was either double booked or cancelled.
3️⃣Training at top tier studios I can drive 10-30min away from, when in the past…I would have to fly to.
4️⃣Coaching at F45 and Bunda and building a fitness community.
5️⃣Currently Scaling my ABLE Fitness app
6️⃣Making it to the Top 5 for Ciara’s Dance Icon.
7️⃣Paying my own rent and bills
8️⃣Managing my schedule one month at a time lol
9️⃣Continuing to push through even when I wanted to quit.
🔟Building a support system in LA when I felt alone
1️⃣1️⃣Still believing in myself, no matter what.

MOM MONDAY: We’re raising up worshippers round here 🥹
•
My kids would fight me if I tell them to come down from the choir stand & it’s actually my favorite “pat yourself on the shoulder” mom pride I have. What they are learning is the serve. They are learning to be a part of something bigger than them. They are learning we prioritize PRAISING GOD. They are learning that there is nothing better than all of those things combined & they are learning by example.

We do our best to raise them up with balance of course, especially with my job being so demanding physically & spiritually, but might as well teach them through it. Experience is the best teacher! #worship #choir #choirbabies #raiseupachild #mommonday #proudmom
