My mom recently asked me when I’m the happiest. My answer was simple: being off-grid in the middle of the Sea of Cortez, surrounded by a group of relative strangers becoming family, rocking together on sailboats and held by the deep, kismet mystery of the ocean.

I shared with my mom, “There is a precise moment in time when I gaze around and realize that it’s happened again. The longing for a full group drop-in has been met. Everybody is finally in it together, and we can go anywhere next. We know we belong here.”

It’s one of the greatest joys of my life and the work I get to do. That moment when an entire group of humans forms into something greater together, held by a common purpose, a sense of community, and the kind of savory change that ripples out in all directions long after we’ve returned to land.

We started sharing this next voyage on Monday, and already half the spaces are filled. If you’re curious about what transformation feels like, hear the call. My co-conspirator @courtroberts__ and the passionate @thisiswater.life team are inviting you into another journey into the wild.
