From the 9th-11th October over 150 artists will be taking over the town. Come for an art adventure by the sea. This is a brilliant opportunity to get inside the creative underbelly of Folkestone and get a unique insight into artists’ lives, spaces, ideas and obsessions.

We had big, big fun at Top Drawer this week , it was our third time at the show and it felt like another significant step forward for Ornament Art. We caught up with our fab customers, met some new lovely ones and came away with some exciting leads 🤞🏻.
We also had the best time with our fellow publishers who really are some of the funniest and friendliest people we ever met.
It’s feels like there’s a lot of love blossoming for our kitsch contribution to the world of greetings cards so to everyone who has believed in us since we started this or has given our cards a go Thank You - we promise “The party’s just begun!”

30 days to go until Open Art Folke returns!

Folkestone’s artist led festival returns for its 3rd year with 178 artists causing a commotion all over town.

You’ll find art this way, art that way. Art behind that unassuming door, up those stairs. Art on that shelf in the cafe. Art made on the street, on that campsite overlooking the channel, even in the boxing ring at F51. Art you touch, smell, taste. Art you didn’t even know was art…

It’s free to explore and open to all!

We are releasing the full programme of events, open studios and participating artists next week. By the way have you seen the posters starting to appear around town designed by @suze.lawrence and Francesco Imola? Follow us over the next few weeks so you don’t miss out on any updates and please help us spread the word!

Speaking of help. The festival wouldn’t be possible without our brilliant sponsors @club.folkestone @art4site @sdprojects.uk @dockerbrewery @objectables @folkesyart with support from Folkestone Town Council, The Roger De Haan Charitable Trust and Creative Folkestone.

A big thank you!

👇PUZZLE TIME 👇

Can you guess the name of the well-known song I have (expertly?) recreated in each slide??
(Admittedly, this is probably going to be easier if you’re over 50, or had really cool parents who ensured your musical education was somewhat ‘eclectic’….)
