One of the most enduring canvases for creativity, the chair can be plush, geometric, organic, or unapologetically sculptural, proving that the best designs are works of art in their own right.

‘Still 01’ 1 of 1. Not just an object, but a reflection.

This work explores identity through an act of reduction—an intentional stripping away of the layers we collect in order to be seen, accepted, and understood. Through this process, what remains is not absence, but essence.

Objects, structures, and forms are pared back to their most elemental state, revealing the quiet architecture beneath. In this space of subtraction, a truth emerges—not loud or performative, but steady. It is the core of the self: vulnerable, resilient, and uncompromising.

The piece rejects the need for ornament or approval. Instead, it exists as a quiet assertion of being—a place where authenticity no longer seeks validation or permission, but simply exists.

In its stillness, the work invites reflection: What remains when everything expected of you is removed? What do you choose to protect, to carry, and to reveal?

@lake7________ @objectidentity Designed by Ukrainian architect and designer @voytenkomax the Rura Armchair expands the Rura collection's exploration of movement, adaptability, and sculptural form.

Drawing inspiration from the optimism and experimentation of mid-20th-century design, the armchair combines generous leather volumes with a stainless steel tubular frame. Its defining feature is an adjustable backrest that slides along the frame, allowing the piece to respond to different sitting positions while maintaining a clean, architectural silhouette.

With Rura, Voytenko continues his investigation into soft architecture, creating furniture where comfort, functionality, and visual expression are seamlessly integrated. The result is a piece that feels both restrained and distinctive, balancing industrial precision with tactile warmth.

i’ve been carrying this project inside me for over a year - finally giving birth to it. what comes next is an attempt to read culture through home items, where my genuine obsessions with culture, psychoanalysis and personal triggers meet.
so i started. say hi… that feel like!
