————

“I have told you three times, Willem. THREE. The recycling goes in the BLUE bin on Tuesdays. Not the green bin. Not on Wednesdays. TUESDAY. BLUE. Is that genuinely beyond your capabilities? Because I can write it on a laminated card if that helps.“

The “small” things we complain about are usually a symptom of something bigger, hidden beneath the surface. Is Femke really mad about the recycling bins, or is there something else going on? 🤔♻️🤬

Want to support the making of this film?
Our CROWDFUNDING is still live! Link in the bio. 🙏🏾

– Kanso Ogbolu

“People often justify cruelty, selfishness, and intolerance without hesitation. Through humour and satire, I want to explore how easily people convince themselves they are doing the right thing, even when everything around them proves otherwise.”

Crowdfunding komt BINNENKORT! 🚀

Yes, there is an alien.
Yes, there is a spaceship.
And yes, there are explosions... lots of explosions.

But that is not what this film is about.

“Femke’s Final Complaint” is a satire about how ordinary people rationalise intolerance: not as hatred, but as common sense. The film shows the everyday irony of how people often blame others for their problems, while taking no responsibility for their own actions.

Stay tuned!
