Can we talk about having a cocktail when you are over 30 and then feeling like crap ??

I love craft cocktails and cute little drinkie drinks when I go out to dinner. They always taste so good and fresh!

BUT then I wake up feeling like crap.

I did a quick mini episode (WAIT A MINITE) episode today…. If you want to hear my hot take on cocktails and hangovers then comment “PODCAST” and I’ll send you the episode

This pic was me at summit last year and I got a cute little craft cocktail called “Lilly” with a Lily in it. How cute? I felt like death the next day lol 😂

So sad I am having to miss being at summit this year 😭😭 miss my tribe!

Are you bloated daily ? And don’t know why? Because that was mean a few months ago… here is what I did.

I woke up one day and my stomach was flat and I felt great. Then I ate a piece of mango and BOOM... instantly bloated. Not only did I look bloated but I felt icky too. You know what I mean? Just like heavy and my lower stomach was hard and uncomfortable.

I felt like crying that day because here I was working out daily, lifting weights, doing cardio, eating super clean, drinking my water, taking my supplements, etc. if you have been following me for a minute you know Im a wellness girlie for life and have been for YEARS. Something wasn’t adding up.

I texted my friend and natural doc , Dr Melissa Vandermissen, and she told me to try something and I gotta admit, I did not want to at all.

That change was to have something to eat first thing in the morning BEFORE my morning coffee. UGH! Why is the thing that can fix everything have to be something I really don’t wanna do LOL.

I am 39 years old and I have come to realize that my hormones and body ... they are changing and I have to course correct and adjust the things I am doing. These are some of the reasons why this could be making you bloated and I will share with you my new morning routine that has helped make this shift a lot easier for me...

1️⃣ Coffee may stimulate the production of stomach acid. This increase in the production of harmful stomach acid severely disrupts the digestive system of the body, causing issues like indigestion, bloating, nausea, etc.

2️⃣ First, it increases cortisol, which can negatively impact ovulation, weight and hormonal balance.” The so-called stress hormone—which, among other things, helps regulate energy and makes you feel alert naturally peaks around the time you wake up and interestingly, coffee stimulates cortisol production.

3️⃣ Our blood sugar control is impaired when the first thing our bodies come into contact with is coffee

I’ll create a part 2 sharing the changes I made so hit follow to see that AND….

I interviewed @drmelissavandermissen on the podcast @obsessedornotinterested if you want to hear that episode comment “OBSESSED” and I’ll send it to you.

Did you know you can literally change your belief in a SECOND?

It’s true and it’s super cool. Our beliefs can help us in our lives but they can also hold us back from being amazing. The good news is you have the power within you to completely change a belief in a second. Let me give you some real life examples

I remember when I was little my sister & I were eating gummy bears. They were sooooo good in that moment but that night I remember my sister getting violently ill from them. I heard her moaning and vomiting all night long and I felt horrible. I legit HATE gummy bears ever since that night lol. The thought of them makes me ill and I wasn’t even the one who got 😷. Why did this happen to me? Because my belief changed when the pain of eating them out weighed the PLEASURE of eating them.

How can you change your own beliefs that are holding you back? You need to link up PAIN and pleasure to your belief and then change your belief. So if you believe in some sort of way “IM NOT GOOD ENOUGH!” You need to link up PAIN to this belief and then create a NEW belief “I AM MORE THAN ENOUGH AND GOD CREATED ME TO DO AMAZING THINGS” and link PLEASURE to this new belief. What would your life look like down the road if you continued thinking that stupid false self limiting belief? What would your life look like if you started to believe GODS TRUTH about you?

Does that make sense?

Most of our beliefs are so stupid when we really think about it and just a tiny mindset shift can completely change the course of our lives!!

I offer packages to people I mentor, one of those packages is called “LIFE + MINDSET” … if this helped you might want to inquire about this… it will change your life.

COMMENT “LIFE” and I’ll DM you to chat

OR comment OBSESSED if you want to consume my podcast content on these topics and ill DM you the info for that @obsessedornotinterested

Read the room. Look around. Let me share with you some habits of highly successful people and I will also share mine below.

If you want to hear me break down my morning routine habits and rituals just comment “OBSESSED” and I’ll message you an episode where I go into it….

If you look around at those who are successful they usually have habits and routines or rituals.

This is not by any means across the board but successful people don’t typically sleep in… they are up early. They don’t live in clutter or a mess… they are have their environment somewhat together. They write out their goals on paper. They work from a to do list. They make their bed. They eat clean. They workout and are active. They drink lots of water. They take care of themselves and are put together. They read. They listen to podcasts. They surround themselves with other people who have similar habits. They are curious minded. They are disciplined. They are spiritual. They practice gratitude. They are life long learners.

I could go on.

Mine:
💥wake up early
💥hydrate
💥herbal face food skincare (dm me for 20% off)
💥morning supp cocktail (message me for break down but I put power greens and electrolytes in it)
💥morning water with lemon, hydrogen tablet, and minerals. (Dm me for info)

That’s my pre game lol then I ..

💥read my bible
💥Pray
💥journal in my hyper focus journal (these are 30% off right now btw )
💥 Do affirmations (also in the HF journal )
💥 gratitude (also in HF journal)
💥 review my goals and rewrite my top 3 goals that I call my hyper focus goals
💥craft daily to do list
💥visualization

I also workout daily, eat clean, make my bed, read daily, listen to at least 1 podcast daily, have a nightly routine, etc. i habit stack a lot of these things.

If you want to hear that episode on my routine or goal setting etc just comment OBSESSED or if you want info on the journal I use and want 30% off comment HYPER

On this weeks episode of the @obsessedornotinterested :

Before reacting to a situation, ask yourself these questions…. I’ll even ask myself how mentors of mine would react to certain situations for example @chalenejohnson and @bretjohnson11 have been mentors of mine for the last 15 years. I have often asked myself how they would react to certain situations. Tune in to this episode on Tuesday to hear more of my take aways from Growth Day ❤️

This was a tough one. I brought myself back to these moments and it brought back a lot of emotions and memories that’s for sure. The blessing of going back in time like this really showed me how far she has come. God is so so good!

If you are new here… my daughter Lilly was diagnosed with Autism and told she would never speak again. Tune in tomorrow to her the entire story and details I have never shared before.

Please share if you know someone who has a child with autism in their life
