Just uploaded my opening set from our 02.05 Annex @instinkt.lab showcase to SoundCloud. I had a beautiful opportunity to present my selection, building a set from drone and ambient and ending it with proper deep and psychedelic techno. Returning to OG to host instinkt lab clubnight surrounded by friends and colleagues was an incredible experience that I will remember for a long time. Big thanks to @openground.club team and dear @obstructorr and @pileta__p for sharing the decks! All of the good things you hear about Open Ground are true. Truly one of a kind club. Till next time! Tomorrow I’m hosting my next New Faces, for this one I’ve been waiting a little while. Please meet my three guests: Obstructor Ever since my first HÖR set some years back, his productions keep finding their way into my track IDs; again and again. There’s a precision and feeling in his music that I really appreciate, a certain complexity that never feels forced. His tracks blend effortlessly with both old and new school techno. I’m very happy to finally bring him in for the closing duties; joining us straight from Georgia. Shimmy Robin A beautiful soul with a unique sensitivity for selection. She moves through music like someone mapping unknown terrain, I would say - curious and non predictable. Her sets unfold patiently, full of subtle tension and quiet detail. You might know her through her project blipmotif, but as you can imagine: the best is to experience her live. Adrian Forstbach For the opening, we have one of those selectors where I constantly find myself surprised by his tracks. The selections I know from him feel like carefully assembled archives. Deep, textured, minimalistic, often dub-influenced. A true vinyl lover, and someone I really appreciate for the support he shows within our community. I’m looking forward to seeing you in the vault. Don’t forget to say hi - I’ll be around waiting for you 🫶🏾 Love, Cc @obstructorr @shimmy.r0bin @forst_bach

From hard driven organic techno to immersive ambient soundscapes, we’ve selected ten tracks that capture the unmistakable sound of @differentsoundofficial. Founded in Tbilisi in 2017 by Pate Jaar, the label has carved out its own space in the global electronic music landscape: raw, intuitive and uncompromising. Over the years, Different Sound has channeled a wide sonic spectrum into something deeply intentional: music that taps into unconscious energy, elevates the individual and transforms the dance floor into a collective experience. #differentsound #tbilisi #electronicmusic #electronicbeats

With our return to Open Ground we are delighted to host the German debut of @obstructorr . Hailing from Georgian capital of Tbilisi, he has been a prominent figure in both local scene, frequently performing in such clubs as Bassiani and Khidi, and gaining massive international support with releases on HAYES, NRBK and Illegal Alien Records. Our connection straightened by his contribution to our last year’s BLENDE02, we are happy to finally see Obstructor in Germany. Our frequent collaborator and a friend, Cologne’s very own @pileta__p is coming to Open Ground as a part of our curation. An outstanding DJ, frequently appearing in clubs all across Germany, seamlessly traversing between genres and moods, well known for her strong techno selection, she makes a perfect fit for our line up. We are happy to have her back after last year’s Blende Hub ambient session. A part of instinkt lab team and a co-curator of Blende Hub, @sm_04061 is a Berlin-based producer and DJ. Previously releasing deep techno works on Space Textures, Nferee and Intersum, he is an experienced selector, focused on deep, cold and psychedelic sound, blending atmospheres with raw and distorted synth lines. See you on the dance floor! instinkt lab in Annex, Open Ground 02.05.2026 04061 Obstructor Pileta ✨ ID - Unreleased by @obstructorr Street footage - @cherimtsei
