Making art in the heart of Artland

POSTS STORIES REELS TAGGED

Enjoying a late breakfast out on the front porch this morning. I’ll admit, it has been tough transitioning to a new town and getting settled. I haven’t finished setting up my pottery studio and I’m having trouble finding the motivation to do it. I want to go and explore and see new places! Maybe I feel like I’m on vacation??! Time to get to work!! Vacation mode will end fast when I run out of money.. 😂
anyone ever feel this way?? 🤷🏼‍♀️
Post some motivational comments below (please!) and I’ll keep you updated in my stories- today I finish my studio. TODAY!

Enjoying some delicious strawberries rinsed in a special “Berry Bowl” with holes in the bottom to drain the water, and a little plate to catch the drippings. A perfect, personal sized colander to enjoy the summer fruits! 🍓🍓
(Isn’t strawberry season over???) I will have berry bowls like this one at the Perspectives Georgia
Pottery Invitational in Watkinsville, GA Aug 30- Sept 15. 🍓🍓
I’m still getting things settled here in Baton Rouge, but I’ll be up and running with a shop update soon! I’ll be uploading my line of flower mugs, cups and bowls and also some carved animal mugs (of course!) the shop update probably won’t be finished until after I return from the Perspectives sale in mid-September! Check back for more!

There’s a sculpture garden to the left of the @ocafgalleries building in Watkinsville and it’s incredibly picture perfect.

What do you guys think about these white on white mugs?? Too simple?? Plain?? You like the contrast with the carving?? Hmmm... I’m just in love with this white glaze lately!!

Do you have a special place to store your garlic? I love having a garlic jar! (I put garlic in everything- vampires, beware!! 🧛‍♂️)
The lidded jar keeps the garlic in a cool, dark place and the holes allow for air circulation through the pot. These are perfect conditions to keep your garlic fresher longer! 🖤🖤
The next opportunity to find my pottery for sale will be at the Perspectives Georgia Pottery Invitational!
Aug 31-Sept 15, Watkinsville, Georgia
