This summer, the #VarsityInnovationLab traveled across the country (TN -> TX -> FL -> NH -> MA -> CA.. just to name a few 😆) to connect with athletes and coaches about the future of cheer shoes!

At each stop, athletes had the opportunity to wear current (and upcoming 😉) Varsity Footwear styles while stunting, tumbling, jumping, and sharing feedback directly with our designers. At @varsityspirit, athlete insight helps shape every shoe!

From there, our shoes head to @heeluxe for next-level testing, where it’s dissected by scientists, put through intense impact testing, and has even walked 300+ consecutive miles to test durability—all before it ever reaches a customer.

This is what innovation looks like. 💪👩‍🔬

There’s something really special about cheer beyond the trophies, it’s the people ❤️

This weekend was such a reminder of that. Watching MK pour everything she had into TWO teams this season while balancing a demanding freshman year schedule has been incredible to witness. The dedication, discipline, sacrifice, and resilience these athletes show is honestly inspiring.

I’m so proud of her for helping BOTH teams make finals, and for Code Red bringing home the Summit Championship 🏔️🚨❤️🖤

But one of my favorite parts of this journey has been the community around it. The friendships formed in the stands, late nights, early mornings, travel weekends, and celebrating each other’s kids like they’re our own. Cheer parent bonds are real 💫

And a huge shoutout to Ocala Athletix owner Cyndi and coaches Karissa, Michael, Alex, Tyler and Jacob for the leadership, belief, and countless hours poured into these athletes. The impact goes so far beyond the mat.

Proud Realtor Mom moment for sure ❤️

First, To My Dad

I don’t say it enough, but thank you for everything you did for me this season. Being both a cheerleading coach and my dad isn’t easy, but you showed up for me in every single way. This win wouldn’t have been possible without you mostly and I’m so grateful for everything you’ve sacrificed to get me here. Taking me back and forth to practices and privates, having to cancel plans to make a way for me to cheer Allstar, and paying for all the expenses as a single parent NOBODY CAN TOP THAT‼️💪🏽

To Code Red,

This season was about more than just cheer—it was about growing, pushing each other, and becoming a family. The bond we have is so strong that even on the hard days, we never gave up and we’ve stay positive about everything. And that’s what makes us so special. Winning means everything, but who I got to win with means even more. I wouldn’t trade any of you for anything. You’re not just my teammates, you’re my family. I love y’all forever. @ocalaathletix @oax.codered Wouldn’t wanna be at any other gym🤞🏽❤️

Reading for what’s next💪🏽🏆

The bond shared by this team goes far beyond the banners and the rings, I will forever be grateful for the joy and support code red has brought the past three years every year holds a special place in my heart but this year was unbeatable we were a family and we shared a bond like no other and it was beyond the ring we received but it was the love that was filled in the room. Thank you code red for all you’ve done for me and this is a forever memory i will never forget! #CR4L #SUMMIT

Finally getting to share this Summit-winning Code Red routine in its entirety with the world… and I still get chills watching it. This was the most electrifying performance I have ever seen. The energy, the execution, the emotion… they walked onto that floor and showed the world exactly who they are. And they CRUSHED it. ❤️‍🔥

This season has been unbelievably challenging behind the scenes. Watching MK balance as a crossover between Code Red and J Heat while navigating her first year of high school and an incredibly rigorous schedule has been nothing short of amazing. Five days a week in the gym, extra hours, extra reps, exhaustion, sacrifice, missing out on time with friends, all while maintaining her grades and finishing the year in the top 10% of her class.

That’s what makes this moment so special. Not just the win, but everything it took to get here. The resilience. The grit. The discipline. The commitment when nobody was watching ❤️🖤

Ending the season with this title feels like the absolute cherry on top, and I could not be more proud of these athletes for betting on themselves and finishing the story this way🚨🏔️
