Stepping on stage, hearing the crowd cheer and winning hardware is fun and all but I find the most enjoyment from competing is meeting and connecting with likeminded individuals back stage. With every OCB competition I have competed in it has been consistent where yes we are all on stage competing against one another, but the level of respect, acknowledgement and support towards each other is incredible.

We all understand having a mutual respect knowing what it has taken in order to not only step on stage but the level where we were able to get our bodies in order to be competitive on stage.

Bodybuilding is such a strange concept where we choose to stand under lights, nearly exposed in front of an audience to be judged based off our appearance compared to others.. in a self conscious society. Regardless the placing just competing is a huge win physically and mentally.

Some great guys I met back stage who are in the pictures @brayden_fox214 @patrick_wagner123 @better.over.50 pleasure to have met you all and looking forward to following and supporting your journeys!

The glow hits different when you’ve fought for it. ✨

I didn’t just lose weight… I rebuilt my life.
At my heaviest, I felt stuck in a body and mindset I didn’t recognize anymore. After years of starting over, of trying and failing, I finally made a decision—no more excuses, no more quitting on myself.

As a mom of three, I had every reason to put myself last… but this time, I chose me too. Not just for how I look, but for how I feel, how I show up, and the example I set.

This journey wasn’t perfect. It was messy, emotional, exhausting… but I kept going. I showed up on the days I didn’t feel like it. I fought through the mental battles no one saw. I learned discipline. I found strength I didn’t know I had.

And now? This glow… it’s not just physical.
It’s confidence. It’s self-respect. It’s healing. It’s becoming the woman I was always meant to be.
This didn’t happen overnight.
