I am often asked if I workout every day.
The short answer is no.
I do like to move my body every day.
Some rest days consist of stretching and mobility work. Some days I go for a light walk.
Those days are not about how many steps I get. They do not consist of high intensity or pushing a lot of weight.
It’s just me recalibrating myself physically and mentally.
Some people have to have a cup of coffee everyday to feel they can start there day
For me, it’s a form of movement. It’s therapeutic. Daily movement helps get my head and thought’s straight, ready to attack the day.

From my first bodybuilding competition ever in 2013 NPC Bikini division 🔀 to my most recent in OCB Pro Figure division 2026 💪

My body has had many different phases. I took 10 years off of any bodybuilding competitions. We moved across the country to three different states, lived with family, finally bought a house, had three more kids, couldn’t afford a gym membership, etc etc. But through it all, I still maintained my fitness. I wasn’t sure if I’d ever actually step on stage again. And then I discovered the OCB, an all natural federation, where I didn’t have to compete against enhanced athletes, something that became prevalent in the 10 years that I had taken off!

I’m working on building more and more muscle, especially my lower body, to stay competitive on the Pro stage! 💪 I love it so much 🫶

And now the NPC has natural shows as well, so that’s always a thought in the future.

THE DIVIDENDS OF DAILY POSING PRACTICE

What happens when you practice posing every single day?

At first, frustration. Awkward transitions. Uncomfortable contractions. Muscles struggling to maintain unfamiliar positions. Your mind working overtime to coordinate movements your body hasn’t mastered.

But something extraordinary happens when you refuse to quit.

Days become weeks. Weeks become months. Months become years. And repetition begins paying dividends.

Earlier this year, transitioning into my abdominal-and-thigh pose was physically exhausting. Balancing on one leg while preparing my signature stomp demanded tremendous effort from my quadriceps, hamstrings, glutes, calves, and tibialis.

Today? That same movement feels almost effortless.

My feet and ankles make adjustments before I’m consciously aware of them. Movements that once required intense concentration are becoming second nature.

Today’s one-take posing session was performed in front of a mirror—my laboratory for refining technique through immediate visual feedback.

During my side chest, I was concentrating entirely on positioning my arms and concealing my rear shoulder. Meanwhile, my toes were making tiny adjustments to establish my spiked calf.

I didn’t even notice until watching the playback!

THAT is what consistent practice can accomplish.

Transitions become fluid. Balance becomes instinctive. Posing becomes less about remembering movements and more about presenting your physique.

YOU DON’T HAVE TO BE A COMPETITIVE BODYBUILDER TO EXPERIENCE THIS TRANSFORMATION!

Whether you’re preparing for your first competition or posing in front of a mirror for the first time, the principle remains the same.

Practice today. Practice tomorrow. Practice when nobody is watching.

You may not recognize your improvement tomorrow, next week, or even next month.

But imagine what thousands of repetitions can accomplish over the years.

TIME WILL PASS REGARDLESS. MAKE SURE YOUR PRACTICE IS COMPOUNDING INTEREST.

The mirror is your laboratory.
Consistency is your investment.
Progress is your dividend.

EVERY DAY YOU PRACTICE, YOU’RE BUILDING THE POSER YOU’LL BECOME. #samsulek

So I did a thing 💪🏿💪🏿💪🏿 I competed in my first PRO Show (My PRO Debut!!!) on 10/10/26 at the Chesapeake Classic!!! The entire wknd was simply amazing. From the time I checked in from the time that I left, the experience was incredible.

I placed 3rd 🥉 in my class 💪🏿💪🏿💪🏿 and I’m truly proud of myself for placing at all in a PRO show 🕺🏿 God was truly doing his big one and watching over me. So all the Glory go to Him 🙌🏿🙌🏿🙌🏿

Now, lemme thank the ABSOLUTE BEST Coach on the planet, Coach B @gametimefitness85 Coach took my body to levels I never thought it could reach. One word… WOW! The man is incredibly gifted at his craft. GIFTED!!! The way he can be Dr. Huxtable/Uncle Phil and James Evans at the same time should be studied, but it works 🤷🏿‍♂️🤷🏿‍♂️🤣

Secondly, my Power Rangers 🥰🥰🥰 (Chris, Charles, Lil BigBro, Chase and even Justin, yall have had to deal with A LOT from me and trust me, I get it. I was a lot 🤣🤣🤣 Yall know what typa program we run over here tho 🤷🏿‍♂️🤷🏿‍♂️🤷🏿‍♂️ but nah, we fuss, we cuss, we argue, we throw shade but we still love and motivate each other. So thank yall.

To the ENTIRE GameTimeFitness family, thank yall for embracing me, motivating, pushing and supporting me along the way. Thank yall

And to me…. Thank you for being gentle with yourself. Thank you for setting goals and achieving them. Thank you for setting boundaries. And most importantly, thank you for believing in you 🥰

Just GRATEFUL for YOU!! 🙌🏾🙌🏾🙌🏾🙌🏾🙌🏾

Continuing to thank/praise God for this journey!!

“Shout with joy to the LORD, all the earth! Worship the LORD with gladness. Come before him, singing with joy. Acknowledge that the LORD is God! He made us, and we are his. We are his people, the sheep of his pasture. Enter his gates with thanksgiving; go into his courts with praise. Give thanks to him and praise his name.”
