30, dirty and surviving 🤠 13 years ago, we became friends in cosmetology, and I genuinely thought, there is absolutely no way I have anything in common with this weird goth bitch. And yet here we are. Over these years, we’ve watched each other make questionable decisions, do some genuinely stupid shit, and then lovingly stood nearby while the other one dealt with the consequences. We’ve picked each other up, talked each other through breakdowns, probably enabled each other a little, and somehow continued to put up with one another through every era imaginable. But I’ve also gotten to watch your life become so incredibly beautiful. We’ve watched each other fall in love. You were there when I brought Ramona into the world. I’ve watched you buy your home and build a life and community where you truly belong and thrive. Now somehow we’re 30. I’m so grateful that bitchy teenage me decided to give your weird ass a chance. I can’t imagine my life without you in it, and I’m so proud of the person and the life you’ve built. Happy 30th birthday to my soul friend. 🖤 @occasionalhuman

There’s a new kind of emptiness in your eyes…

Your heart in your hands…

Was it because you loved and you lost?

Special thanks to @goblin_mead + @occasionalhuman for letting me use their beautiful work.

Yall already know how sappy and sentimental I get, so I’ll spare yall the long winded version of this.
This was one of the hardest years of my life, emotionally. My friends and my clients got me through in ways I can never hope to fully articulate. Thanks to everyone that has continued to help me live out my dream job with my dream clientele. I love every single one of yall more than you know.
See you next year 🖤💚🖤💚🖤
