This might be one of our favourite ways to explore what Fremantle has to offer.

With the option to ride south along the coast down to Coogee and check out the Omeo Wreak, or head north up to Cottesloe Beach.

Or take a ride through the streets of Freo past the beautiful heritage buildings with some great food stops along the way.

Head to @ocean.cycles for more info!

I’m going to try.

Watch me fumble through the story of what started as a favour and a bit of fun filming for a mate quickly turning into something more.

Thanks so much to @jackmacmillan and @ocean.cycles for encouraging and showing faith in me.

Appreciate you all that are following along so far <3

For the love of Freo 🫶

From school to work to mates and family, good times, bad times and everything in between Freo has been a huge part of my life for a long time.

It feels like no matter where I go Freo will always be home 🏠

Our recent trip to @rottnestislandwa

Sun, salt air, and a little bit of adventure ☀️🚲

If you’re heading to WA, make sure you spend the day on Rottnest..

We hired e-bikes from @ocean.cycles (highly recommend 🔥), jumped on the ferry with @rottnestexpress , and rode our way around the island.

Easy. Scenic. Zero stress.

Just beaches, bush tracks and that “why don’t I do this more often?” feeling.

Have you done Rotto by ebike before?

Irish Fenian rebels often referred to themselves as ‘flying geese’ a reference to the Irish Jacobite army that escaped Ireland after the British Victory over the country. In 1867, an unusual event took place in Western Australia, when a ship named the Hougoumont set sail from its shores with 280 convicts. While the presence of convicts was not in itself remarkable, nor the fact that this was to be the last convict ship to ever arrive in Australia- what was astounding about this voyage was the presence of 62 Fenians (Irish political prisoners) to this small far-flung colony. This was because the transportation of political prisoners at the time contravened the agreement between the Empire and Western Australia, as news of their impending arrival grew, widespread panic ensued across the Swan River colony. With such a controversial start to their Western Australian story, it was only fitting that it ended with their incredible escape from Fremantle prison.
