Current State! So happy to finally get around to sharing more from this one. Had an absolute blast building this identity with @oceanandsea Current State wanted a no nonsense, utilitarian identity. It needed to be unique, but without unnecessary frill. Basically, design it to look not designed. The answer to this ask was an incredibly type-driven identity system based around a customized brand typeface that we dubbed “Kansas Sans.” We paired this with a simple, ownable graphic element based on the roof line of their shop in downtown Shawnee. Top that off with a midwest inspired palette, some hand painted signage, and delicious coffee? Welcome to Current State. More from this project coming soon! #kansascitycoffee #coffeeshopbranding #foodandbev #visualidentitydesign

🍕⚡ Bitcoin Pizza Day in Kansas City was a night to remember! 21 bitcoiners came together to celebrate with a screening of The New Rules of Bitcoin as part of The New Rules of Bitcoin Roadshow. We had pizza, an incredible film, and an even better community showing up and showing out. This event wouldn’t have been possible without some amazing people behind the scenes. From helping organize the event, to sending a gift box for our members, to covering the pizza, the generosity and support blew us away. A massive thank you to @unchainedcap for their support and @bitcoinpark_ for being part of this mission to bring Bitcoin education across the country. This is what Bitcoin community looks like. 🧡 #BitcoinPizzaDay #Bitcoin #KansasCity

Nothing makes me happier to see logos made by humans getting proper recognition through @logoarchive @logoarchive.now. Brand design is an art form, one that has captivated me over the years. It’s challenging, it requires patience, and maybe a few tears.
