Earth day spent on the beach! 🌏♻️🐢🧜🏼‍♀️💪🏽

Where else would be spend it?! We rounded up some incredible helpers to get almost 50kg of plastics off the beach at sunset!

With the help of @hotellumi we spent Earth Day 2026 with an amazing community of like-minded beach lovers, learnt how the waste segregation is going on Gili Trawangan and actively cleaned up the mess and litter we see constantly on the sunset beaches.

A huge thanks to everyone that came to help us!

See you next Friday for a full month of May clean-ups

Such good times! 💙💚💙💚

The turtle rangers of Proyek Penyu have made such an impact in 2025 turtle nesting season.

Although we've seen more beach tourist development than ever before, the turtles' relentless nesting activities were fiercely guarded by our turtle rangers' hard work.

Over 6,000 hatchlings were protected on the beach and released in the most natural and non-invasive way possible in such a busy area.

Even though the nesting season is over, we don't stop there! We are now planning to visit schools across the country and teach about this endangered tiny tide of turtle hatchlings and how we can all help protect them!

More information in our Bio, and if you'd like to sponsor a kids' educational workshop, please get in touch!

Epic efforts and clean beaches!

It didn't take long for all these volunteers to remove over 70kg of plastic waste off the North Gili beaches!

Facing strong beach erosion, lots of mismanaged litter and the natural beach blocked by bars and the sidewalk, it's crazy that turtes are even still trying to nest here!

But we worked hard, regardless of the weather to recover as much litter and marine debris as possible.

Thanks for everyone's help! And to @flossieandthebeachcleaners for funding our clean up efforts this week!

Valentine’s Day, the perfect occasion to share memories from our third wedding (three is a lot guys! 😅) —this time in beautiful Gili Trawangan, surrounded by our friends from Indonesia. A perfect beach ceremony, laughter, love, and unforgettable moments with friends who have truly become family. ❤️

Happy Valentine’s Day! @alexanderfalch
