400m of grind. Tough obstacles, tougher moments. Still standing, still learning, still hungry for more. Thank you @schjott_ocr for the hardest 400m 🤩💪

We often talk about what makes Alberta’s athletes so special. They work hard, but they have so much fun doing it!! The positive spirit in general is so captivating, and we are just so lucky to support such an incredible team. Hayden Chow is currently representing Canada in Madrid, Spain at the UIPM world championships and he embodies exactly what we think Canada’s athletes share, a love of the sport and joie de vivre!! @arespentathlon we know so much of this is about positive role models and you have this with the most supportive coaches!!

Goooo Canada!!! We are so proud! Keep doing what you’re doing whilst dancing! Thank you Hayden for this moment of joy in a hard day of training!!!

🤩 Three climbs, one stubborn set of legs. Stronger, not smarter. At least one of them caught on camera with my husband — proof we’re equally mad. All part of the Trifecta Spartan in Finland @spartanfinland . 🤩

Not the usual way to grab the rings… but that’s the point. Training is about exploring, failing, laughing, and finding new strength. And sometimes it’s the silly moments and the fun with friends that lift you up the most — building confidence one grip at a time. ❤️

Hang On will always be my favorite race. The rigs are long, tricky, and so technical—it challenges me every single time. With a little snow on the ground, every move felt harder but also more rewarding. I don’t always get it perfect, but that’s the beauty of it… you hang on, you fight, and you keep moving forward. That’s why I love it ❤️.

❤️ I came to the start with doubt in my body – but where the cold meets the starting line, the cheers and the officials were ready. Their smiles and energy turned hesitation into celebration, reminding me that ocr is about community, and every step feels lighter when someone believes we can. ❤️

Here is Canada’s Nicolas Bolouri also making quick work of this #obstaclecourse course in Buenos Aires! 👌👌

In our last post, we mentioned that if you are interested in obstacle, there is a great crew running this portion of the sport in Alberta. If you’re in Calgary, pop a note to @atlasobstacle and they can get you started.
