Ik this is like a week late but this was actually one of the best days of my entire life. When I told people I was gonna have a Conan Gray sweet 16 literally no one believed I could pull that off 😂. He is my favorite artists and sometimes the songs he put out make me think he's listening to me in my walls. I've seen him 4 times already and hopefully many more to come! I put my blood sweat and tears into planning this amazing party but it's these people who made it special ❤️. I love you all and thank you so much for making me feel important and loved ❤️. KEYED MY FIRST SHOW!!!!!!!!!!

Last week, I had the privilege of keying my first New York fashion show!!!!!!

For those not in the industry, that means a designer asks you to lead beauty for their show. And if i’m being more honest there, the designer didn’t ask me so much as I pitched to her but hey what’s new?? closed mouths don’t get fed!!! And I’ve BEEEENNNN saying that.

I got to work hand in hand with the designer to align on a vision, put together a team to lead and execute that vision on show day, pitched to corporate sponsors, heard lots of nos, had early mornings and just general hustle to get it done.

This moment is one that I’ve dreamt about since before I quit my corporate job, which HOW was that only 2 years ago?!

And I can’t imagine a more special team to have done it with!

To Lela, the designer behind @ferrahofficial: you are a true visionary, but beyond that, your commitment to excellence is what really sets you apart. The attention to detail and quality of each piece is extraordinary, second to none. Getting to work with you as an artist was special, but getting to watch how you honored yourself and made this show come to life changed a little bit of me, showing me that you never have to compromise your boundaries to get it done.

To my incredible angelic perfect team: each of you are INSANELY talented, but more importantly, you each brought the most infectious, collaborative, supportive energy; and in this industry, that is something i don’t take for granted. Never let anyone put out that gorgina sparkly flame!!

To the models and everyone on the Ferrah team: thank you for being so lovely to work with and making it the best day ever!!!! I am still pinching myself!
