@blasnaheireann awards weekend is such a special time. So many friends from the food world in the one wonderful town together. Celebrating Irelands brilliant food & drink producers. Massive congrats to Irelands supreme champions Bart & Nicole from @arankilkenny

Loved being able to show off parts of 'Dinner' and drag her around the town. I swear the sun shone non stop 🤣 I hosted a meal for some media and a talk of live dinner diaries!

Until next year, to mark 20years of Blas awards!
I especially loved going on Bobby Kerr's Down to Business show on @newstalkfm to discuss the whole process of being a judge and how important the awards are to our countries food scene.

Blas na hEireann, Irish Food Awards 2026 in Dingle, Co Kerry.

The Blas awards are the biggest blind tasting of produce in the country, and the criteria on which the product is judged as well as the judging system itself, which was developed by Blas na hÉireann with the Food Science Dept of UCC, is now recognised as an international industry standard.

We were thrilled to bring home an award for O’Donnells Fire Roasted Buffalo Wings Flavour.

It is a weekend where producers come together to celebrate the very best of Irish Food.

Thank you to Fallon, Artie and all the team at @blasnaheireann for the tremendous effort you went to.

Wonderful to catch up with so many great friends and food producers.

Fantastic to see two previous Supreme Champion winners @rivesci.ie and @bonchocolatiers collaborate on a delicious new chocolate bar “Sweet Heat”

Clonmel RFC Vice President, John Sheehan, presenting Kate Kelly, President of Dolphin RFC, with Tipperary Food Producers products from Trass’s Apple Farm, Hickeys Bakery, O’Donnell Crisps and Rivesci at our Energia AIL Pre-Match Lunch reception. This was held in the Ard Gaoithe Clubhouse prior to kick off of our home fixture v Dolphin RFC.

Ever get to the end of a month and wonder what you actually did?

Then you look through your camera roll… 😂
September was full of proud moments, muffin mishaps and everything in between ❤️ Before you get the recipe, I get the wonky batch. Testing, tweaking and a fair bit of washing up until we get there!

. A day at Ballymaloe, celebrating the people who put their heart into Irish food, and a night out with my pal Sue very good for the soul 🍸😂

I also joined the conversation about hot school meals, with something I feel strongly about: “Just because a child is hungry doesn’t mean they’re going to eat just anything.”

Our little community reached 130,000 on Facebook and nearly 154,000 here. Thank you for cooking along, chatting and sticking around for the kitchen disasters too ❤️
But my biggest win? Watching my girl settle into secondary school, finding her feet and making lovely friends. Those are the moments that mean the most.
And through it all… there’s always room to be yourself 😂❤️
