Island hopping. 🏝️🤿
Beautiful weather, clear skies and pristine waters.
We had the pleasure of sailing from Pulau Perhentian to Pulau Redang on the Ocean Three, which was truly a wonderful experience. Food was never ending 😂 but everything was simply scrumptious! 😋
Thank you Ocean Three for your kind hospitality. We are grateful for having had the privileged to experience it. 🙏🏼 Alhamdulillah.

Let’s go diving! 🤿
It was so good to be back in the ocean, swimming with the fish and to see a robust marine life. And thank God, due to muscle memory, it wasn’t so hard remembering the whole diving drill again.👌🏼
A wonderful feeling indeed. Thank you @selamberrdive for the lovely experience. #scubadiving #advancediver #nitroxcertifieddiver #PADIcertified2008 #225dives

Here we go…
Something I’ve not done for a long time. 😅
It’s been 3 years since I last dived. So when we were invited by @selamberrdive & @odydivecenter to try out their services & facilities, we jumped at the chance to reunite with one of our favourite sport-scuba diving! 🤿
The Dive Masters (DMs), headed by Encik Naeem were very helpful & accommodating. We were in good hands. Thank you for taking good care of us. 🙏🏼
We were all spoilt rotten! 😂
The service was of high standard. No washing your own gear or lugging your equipment yourself.
Everything will be prepared & ready for you on the boat before each and every dive. You just suit up! 😃

Thank you @danairetreat too, especially Din & Wani, for your warm hospitality & kind generosity.
Special mention to the GM Joanne Leong for attending to our needs meticulously. Thank you. 🙏🏼
Thank you to all the staff too for taking good care of us. We had a great time and we plan to come back,in shaa Allah.
Check out Danai Retreat if you’re ever in Pulau Perhentian. I love their customised hand liquid soap & skin lotion. It smells simply divine! I was given 2 bottles since I loved it so much! Thank you Danai Retreat. 🙏🏼❤️ Till next time! #danairetreat #warmhospitality #familyfriendly #greatfood #relaxmode

Sometimes in Wakatobi, you don’t need to look for the big stuff… you just need to slow down and look REALLY closely.

Macro diving here is like opening a tiny underwater universe nudibranchs, gobies, shrimp, crabs and all those little creatures hiding in the reef.

And honestly… this is why I can never say no to a macro dive. 😂
The smaller they are, the harder I become obsessed with getting that ONE shot!

Wakatobi’s reefs are still incredibly beautiful and full of life. You just have to take your time, get low, watch your buoyancy and let the reef come to you.

Tiny subject. Big story. 💙🌊

Wakatobi… 💙🌊

Sometimes you don’t need words. Just look at this reef.

Pristine corals, insane colours, and that feeling of being surrounded by a living world that is still doing its thing.

I only had limited time underwater, but Wakatobi reminded me again why I keep going back into the ocean to see it, feel it, and hopefully use my images to make people care about protecting it.

This is what a healthy reef should look like. ❤️

Some places make you dive. Wakatobi makes you stop and stare. 💙

Everyone talks about Raja Ampat, but did you know that Wakatobi is home to some of the healthiest and most pristine coral reefs on Earth?

I honestly wish I had more time here. I spent most of my dives shooting wide angle because every time I looked up, I was reminded that the real superstar was the reef itself.

These walls are bursting with life from giant barrel sponges and colourful sea fans to endless hard and soft corals stretching as far as you can see. It’s like swimming through an underwater rainforest.

Fun fact: Wakatobi sits within the Coral Triangle, often called the Amazon of the Seas. This region holds the highest marine biodiversity on the planet, with hundreds of coral species and thousands of reef fish calling it home.

I only managed to squeeze in a few macro dives because it was cold but honestly… Wakatobi kept calling me back to the bigger picture. Some reefs are so spectacular that you can’t help but reach for your wide-angle lens over and over again.

The best part? The reefs are still incredibly healthy. You can tell the ecosystem is thriving when the corals are vibrant the fish are everywhere and every square metre seems alive to the core . I had to put my camera down just to enjoy the crazy reefs !

As underwater photographers, we often chase the smallest subjects. But sometimes… the biggest story is the reef itself.

This is exactly why we keep fighting to protect our oceans because places like Wakatobi remind us what a healthy ocean should look like.

Who’s adding Wakatobi to their bucket list? 🙋🏻‍♀️🌊
