hello! this is the first installment of a new series where i basically just share my favorite picks from a certain genre.
Japanese shoegaze has been my on-repeat for the last couple weeks, so it just made sense to start here. Obviously, there are so many more artists based in Japan that have shaped shoegaze as a genre (as well as other releases by the artists mentioned here!) I highly recommend that you go show them some love too <3

All of these artists are available on Spotify

Here's the setlist from last week's stream. It was, as always, a fantastic affair! I hope you were able to catch it as this one ended up not getting recorded, so unfortunately it cannot be found on my Mixcloud (but there's still a lot up there! - link in bio.)

I will be streaming this evening, and will have a flyer up for that here soon. I will also be participating in this wekend's Return of Swirly Fest. This event is always amazing, and this one is the first of 2022 and promises to deliver a grand time. More details for that coming soon too. I imagine you'll be able to find a link to the event in my bio as well.

1) Blushing - Dream Merchants

2) Oeil - Strawberry Cream

3) Jay som - Drown

4) Lunation Fall - Mercury

5) Lavender Blush - You Are My Moonlight

6) Margaritas Podridas - Pétalos Mordidos

7) Clinic Stars - April's Past

8) SPOOL - winter
