Some connections begin with a simple hello online and turn into something truly special.

Grateful for my dear friend @vanessacoppes Vanessa Coppes, Editor-in-Chief of BELLA Magazine @bellamediaco , and the beautiful reminder that women in media and production can and should show up for one another.

Whether it’s at a panel, an event, behind the camera, in front of the camera, or simply over a cup of coffee and five eggs (yes, five! 😂 thank you @eatatovereasy ), showing up matters.

Growing up, there weren’t many Latina women in media to look up to. And when you finally spot another unicorn in this industry, you don’t just acknowledge her. You celebrate her, support her, and bask in all that she represents.

Because collaboration doesn’t mean competition. It means opening doors, making room at the table, sharing opportunities, and cheering each other on through every season.

Vanessa, thank you for always coming to the table and, more importantly, for always inviting me to have a seat at yours. That’s what genuine sisterhood and leadership look like.

I’m grateful to know and love you, not just for the incredible work you do, but for the woman you are.

Here’s to more Latina voices, more women telling our stories, and more opportunities to lift each other up.

Until our next cuppa cawfee, my friend! ☕️❤️ #RockyBalboa

He didn’t mean to buy a restaurant. He just wanted to feed his kids after soccer practice.

From one accidental purchase, to an empire that includes @patricias_of_holmdel, @gabriellas.nj,@madison_modern, @oekitchen, and more — meet @frankie_brusco, The Accidental Restaurateur.

Read his story in our Fall Issue.

Our advice for October 15? Double down.
On the coffee.
On the connections.
On the dinner plans.
And maybe on the post-conference drinks.
Swipe for a few spots to make a full day (and night) out of NJDMC 2026.
Save this for later, send it to your conference crew and grab your ticket at the link in bio. 🎟️

August recap 🦀🌊🌮☕️🌞🍦🍳✨😌
.
.
A little delayed as I was soaking in the last bit of summer at the beach! But August was full of lots of great memories, people, and eats!
- @618restaurant anniversary dinner! I will never stop raving about this spot its my OG fav and continues to be a restaurant we look forward to dining at year after year!
- s’mores around the firepit in the Poconos on my brother and future SIL’s bach trip
- @tacojointatx insane bfast tacos & delish cold brew
- @arribaabajoatx tacos (bc you truly can never have enough tacos in ATX!) and not pictured but worth mentioning is their rice and beans which were so flavorful!!!!
- @terryblacks_bbq despite personally not eating much meat I do love a good bbq spot and Terry Blacks was a HIT!!! Everything was so tasty and everyone left happy with full bellies. The mac and cheese was FIRE
- @oekitchen chicken capri baguette & a banana latte, pistachio iced coffee, and a seasonal refresher drink! Great bfast/lunch spot!
- first @dunkin pumpkin of the season. Had to do it I couldn’t stay away!
- @cheesecakefactory pasta da vinci and chicken nachos! Cheesecake factory is always a great go to since their menu is so expansive there is truly something for everyone!
- @auntbettysicecreamshack ‘s Graham Central Station flavor went triple platinum on my list!!!! So freaking delicious
- @two_mile_landing all you can eat crabs & lots of summertime drinks! We went on the most beautiful night and the views on the water were the perfect dinner backdrop
- @thelandmark.cafe for bfast and coffee! Their breakfast potatoes were a fan favorite and there are so many coffee flavors to choose from I wish I could have tried them all!
- @mangia_toscano cacio e pepe! Perfect dish at my future SIL’s bridal shower!
