we’re back from summer with a little pre season appointment, this saturday we hosts the afterparty of Dolce XOXO, a 12-hour post-disciplinary marathon that explores a specific generational sensibility shaped by early-internet utopianism and online lurking. The exhibition looks at how our generation learned to experience and express feelings through the appropriation of images, texts, and fragments that inform today’s circulating aesthetics, to create a collective language built on novel forms of symbolism.

We curated the night on deconstructed club and remix culture, the sound of a generation raised on edits and bootlegs, where nothing was original, only reworked.

In the work of Tudor Ciurescu and Brennan Wojtyla, images turn into “practical jokes” that exist in the real world. In dialogue at Dolce XOXO, their sculptures balloon into oversized vessels for new mythologies.

Comprised of a group exhibition and an after-party, Dolce XOXO investigates emerging and established practices—across art, sound, and performance—indebted to the early-2000s and the post-internet decade, that make work based on the appropriation of the online as a form of generational behavior.

Commissioned for Dolce XOXO, “Sweet Girl” (2026) is an edible sculpture by Italian duo Forniture Pallotta, playing off Henry Moore’s modernist silhouette in a bootlegging and appropriation play.

“Terms and Conditions” (2026), a newly commissioned large-scale painting by Emir Karyo draws a lysergic, whimsical parallel between the evolution of internet culture and that of life in the streets, highlighting the tension between a longing for freedom and indeterminacy and the need for safety and control.

In the series “Charge Into the Future of Power” (2026) by Mika Ben Amar, the artist plays on the ironic gap between the physical device and its use. Both the stretched computer and the series of portraits rendered in USB-C connectors make expressive use of the medium’s very form, rather than its function.

In “The Other Queen of Memphis” (2025) by Luna Mahoux, Rapper La Chat guides the viewer in a city filled with ghosts and dreams, such as Memphis’s rapper community, the successes, blind spots, inspirations, disappearances, joys and violence.

For Dolce XOXO, Mahoux’s work is paired with “Xenon Palace Championship” (2023) by Sara Sadik creating a dialogue between two post-colonial, Afro- and Maghrebi-diasporic narratives, both closely attuned to the expressive grammar of digital content-making.

In this extensive archive of live performance images, interviews with celebrities, found-footage, and scenes in the lives of strangers, “Never Broken Again” (2023) by Luna Mahoux cuts, separates, recont
