▪️VUSCICHÈ — SS27 SOTTOLUCE

Sottoluce is a collection built around the idea of light remaining inside matter.

Not brightness, but residue.
A faded memory of sun, work, time and wear.

The collection explores a fragile balance between shadow and evaporation: indigo washed by light,
chalk neutrals, tobacco workwear tones, burned blacks and dusty mineral surfaces.

Most pieces are treated by hand through layered dyeing, washing, sun exposure and pigment processes developed directly in the studio.

The garments stay intentionally unstable: colors continue to evolve,
surfaces crack softly, textures absorb time.

Jacquard references come from traditional Abruzzese blankets and rural textiles, reinterpreted into cashmere hero pieces, reconstructed coats and worn knitwear.

Menswear and women’s silhouettes coexist naturally through fluid proportions, softened tailoring and workwear elements.

Sottoluce is not nostalgic.

It is a contemporary reflection on permanence, erosion and intimacy.
A quiet luxury shaped by process, atmosphere and imperfection.
