✨ THE K2DANCE ARTS HUB IN ACTION ✨

Today our studios are buzzing with creativity as we welcome the incredible Off Base Dance Company @offbasedance alongside a very special guest… Australian dance icon and 5-time World Champion, Liam Costello, @liiamcostello currently starring in MJ the Musical at Crown Perth! 🤩👏

Did you know that K2Dance proudly offers our studio spaces free of charge to independent artists, professional choreographers and dance companies to create, collaborate and rehearse new work?

Throughout the year we’ve welcomed some of Australia’s and the world’s leading choreographers and companies into our studios, helping ease the pressures faced by working artists while giving our K2Dance families and young dancers the rare opportunity to witness professionals creating in a real working environment.

It’s a true win-win. ❤️

This week, WA’s award-winning Off Base Dance Company is developing stunning new contemporary work in our studios, while Liam is spending his only day off from performing in MJ the Musical sharing his incredible knowledge in a special Irish dance workshop. A performer of extraordinary versatility, Liam continues to inspire across multiple dance genres.

We are incredibly proud of the vibrant Arts Hub we’ve created at K2Dance and the calibre of artists who choose to create within our walls. Here’s to supporting the arts, championing creativity, and inspiring the next generation of dancers. ✨🖤

✨ A huge congratulations to Senior K2Dance Staff Members Bernie Bernard, Tyrone Robinson and Brooke Leeder on their outstanding work across a series of @waapa.ecu stage productions over the past two weeks, spanning all three university degrees —

Bernie worked as Choreographer with the 3rd Year Musical Theatre students on their sold-out season of Company, directed by Sonya Suares — bringing 1970s charm, incredible energy and unforgettable storytelling to life 🎶✨

🎬 Tyrone worked as Movement Director & Choreographer for Romeo and Juliet, collaborating with WAAPA’s graduating Acting students under Tom Healey’s direction to create a vibrant, entertaining and contemporary interpretation of Shakespeare’s iconic love story ❤️🎭✨

💫 Brooke opened the 2026 program for WAAPA’s 2nd Year Dance students with Neon and New as part of Rise — celebrating innovation, artistry and the future of dance in WA 🌟🩰✨

And to make this moment even more special 🥹🤍 — K2Dance was so proud to see K2Dance alumni and now staff members @leilazaknich and @ediecorbett performing in Brooke’s work as Second Year WAAPA Dance students 🙌🏽💛 What a beautiful full-circle moment 🌙✨

The reviews and recognition for all three artists have been extraordinary — and so incredibly deserved 👏🏽🔥🤍

WHAT. A. TIME. 🙌🏽✨

This time last week K2Dancers were about to step inside the iconic East Perth Power Station and be part of something truly unforgettable.

REBEL REBEL wasn’t just a performance — it was an immersive, electric celebration of the one and only David Bowie. A bold tribute capturing his spirit, legacy, and fearless, genre-defying brilliance.

Powered by the extraordinary Perth Symphony Orchestra @perthsymphony and Choreographed by the one and only Bernie Bernard each Music artist and Dancer brought their own unmistakable Bowie magic to the stage:

DANCERS
@tyronerobinson
@annmariecj
@bec_hollier
@georgiakeamy

ARTISTS
@katysteele
@justingburford
@mattmilfordmusic
@markturnermusic
@meowtopia
@abbemayzing
@noahdillonmusic

Almost ten years since Bowie’s passing, the atmosphere felt cosmic — a celebration of artistry, individuality, and unapologetic creative freedom. ⚡️

A heartfelt thank you to Fiona and Zach from @perthsymphony for the privilege - the invitation and unforgettable collaboration 🙏🥹🙌🏽 and to @perthfest for creating such a masterpiece for the crowd!

Still floating. Still inspired. Still in awe. ✨

While we’re on the topic of Home, I just had the most spontaneous visit back home which was filled with lush dancing and reconnecting with the Perth community I was a part of before flying off to London almost 3 years ago. My heart was bursting with pride, admiration and joy to see the growth, richness and support that these dancers have fostered in the community under the challenging climate the arts have been existing in.

What a privilege to participate in and teach class for @enneagonmovement who are providing Perth dancers the space to practice and grow and to watch the premiere of 2 amazing works by my best buds at @offbasedance who have been working their butts off to get work up over the past 5 years

Heart is overwhelmed and soul is inspired.
