This spring, FCCLA took me to some incredible places, but more importantly, it reminded me that home isn’t always a place, it’s the people who welcome you when you get there.

Georgia FCCLA SLC
My final Georgia SLC as a member was more special than I can put into words. For five years, Georgia FCCLA has shaped me into the leader I am today, and I am incredibly proud of the team, State Executive Council, and state staff that continue to pour their hearts into serving members. Thank you for believing in me, challenging me, and showing me what servant leadership truly looks like. Georgia will always be home.

Florida FCCLA SLC
Getting to travel with fellow NEC members was such a fun experience! Thank you to the state staff, state officers, and members for being so welcoming and making meaningful connections that I’ll always remember.

Tennessee FCCLA SLC
I may have traveled to Tennessee alone, but I never felt alone for a second. The state staff and state officers welcomed me with open arms and quickly made Tennessee feel like home. Your genuine love for FCCLA left such an impact on me.

how do you say goodbye to a place you have called home for 3 years? georgia fccla has been such a huge part of my life, and now i am ending my journey with the fullest heart.

hillaree, graham, lauren, kamryn, macy, lisette, and emma.. 17 different events and 44 days spent together, and i’m still not ready to say goodbye to y’all. this may be biased, but i truly do think you guys are the coolest teenagers across georgia. i love you all so big.

thank you for everything georgia fccla, it has truly been such an amazing honor.

And just like that… Final Production is over.

Georgia FCCLA, it has been an honor serving as your Vice President of Competitive Events for the 2025–2026 school year. I am so proud of everyone who stepped out of their comfort zones to compete this year, and I am incredibly grateful for all the members I had the opportunity to connect with.

To my 2025–2026 State Executive Council, I am so proud of each and every one of you. We had our ups and downs, but we pushed through and ended the year on an amazing note. I love you all from the bottom of my heart, and I truly couldn’t have asked for a better team. I will truly miss you all ❤️

Like I said in my reflection, that may have been the end of my term, but not the end of my journey…

Advocation is everything.

Looking back over the past few months, I can say that advocation has become the center stone of my FCCLA experience. Speaking up for Family and Consumer Sciences Education, and FCCLA, as well as CTAE Education is something that I champion every day.

My time at National FCCLA‘s Capitol Leadership was an experience like no other. We had the opportunity to connect with state officers from across the US and visit Capitol Hill to talk with United States Legislators. As well as my time at the Georgia CTSO Legislative Expo and Georgia FCCLA Day at The Capitol.

Get out there and advocate for FCCLA, Family and Consumer Sciences, and Career, Technical, Agricultural Education!

It’s more than a rival game. Senior Night at Parsons-Reid goes UP as Vidalia faces Toombs County with pride, passion, and purpose. Seniors get honored, the Lady Indians set the tone, and the varsity boys run it back right after. Expect noise. Expect heart. Expect a NIGHT to remember! 🏹

I am so proud of every single competitor who showed up prepared, confident, and ready to tell their story. You all represented FCCLA so well.

• Region 3 & Region 5 STAR Events
Thank you for welcoming me into your STAR Events sessions. Getting to work alongside your members, advisors, and competitors was truly special.

• CTSO Legislative Expo
There is nothing like advocating for CTE Month and preparing for FCCLA Week alongside passionate student leaders. Getting to meet with other CTSOs, share why FCCLA matters, and speak up for Family & Consumer Sciences brought so much light to my week!

• Go Red for Women ❤️
Friday was especially close to my heart. Advocating for heart health means more than I can put into words. Heart Month is about awareness, prevention, and love, and I’m so thankful to share that mission through FCCLA.

• GATFACS Conference
I was so happy to host both a roundtable and workshop on chapter social media and to bring greetings from our National Officer Team. I loved connecting with advisors who pour so much into their students

And this is just the beginning… I’m so excited for all the fun, meaningful moments ahead as we celebrate FCCLA Week in NYC. So thankful, so proud, and so full of joy.
