Last week we hosted ‘The Art of Drag’ for @nyxcosmetics_benelux, transforming the space into our very own werkroom hosted by @xochelseaboy. During this day, our guests learned all the ins and outs of a quick drag beat and how to channel their new alter egos, and the results were amazing.

We ended the event with a short documentary about Black queer gender-bending artist Sylvester, whose legacy continues to inspire and empower the community today.

EXCUSE THE BEAUTY! 😍✨ This one was so incredibly fun! I got to host a drag makeup workshop with @nyxcosmetics_benelux for these 12 beautiful & creative beings. Swipe for the results, and please stay tuned for the fabulous process! 😉💕

A big thank you to @red.thepeople for organising this incredible event and making sure everything was taken care of so beautifully.

Meet the drag personas that came to life during our event last week. Together with @nyxcosmetics_benelux we hosted the art of drag, led by the one and only @xochelseaboy, who gave the guests a step by step tutorial on how to transform your face.

Beyond learning the technical skills, we wanted to create a moment to reflect on what it truly means to express yourself. We screened a short documentary about Black queer gender-bending artist Sylvester James Jr., whose legacy continues to inspire and empower the community today.

Enjoyed so much working with these directors, production companies, crews and casts.

Between feature fiction films and performance art filmproject. From intimate, sensitive storytelling to absurd romantic comedy. Beautifully layered queer stories. From co-designing an intimate group process taking shape in different exercises in the morning, to navigating collaboration between crew and cast in the afternoon shoot. Honest phonecalls and new meetings, fun on set, creativity and inspiration, artistic vision becoming reality.. Beautiful work!
Looking forward to deeper training and offering.
