Today was an eventful day for our community center! 🌟 @mayordiazpadron was accompanied by nonprofit Helping Others and Giving Hope @official_hoagh and @publix! Together they distributed bags filled with food donations to over 80 seniors at our center. Our seniors were happy and blessed to receive these generous gifts.

With back to back events, our annual Christmas Food Distribution in partnership with Helping Others and Giving Hope, along with the generous support from the West Flagler Auto Tag Agency, Sédanos Supermarket, Columbus Capital Lending, and Solution Construction. Their commitment to making a positive impact in our community is truly inspiring. With their help, we were able to spread joy and provide much-needed assistance during this holiday season. It's heartwarming to see so many people coming together to make a difference. We're so thankful for their support and for the opportunity to give hope to those in need. Together, we're making our community a brighter place. ❤️✨

Last week @official_hoagh partnered with @univisionfoundation to be part of their Univision Day Of Service! The HOAGH Team distributed over 150 care packages with hot burritos from @tiagostacos ! Nothing would be possible without the help of all the volunteers at @univision23 and @local1403 !! #univisiondayofservice #hoagh #stevenferreiro

Yesterday, Local 1403 had the privilege to collaborate with Helping Others and Giving Hope during Univision’s Day of Action by delivering meals and care packages to five busy Metro-Dade Fire Stations. Thank you to our sponsors @official_hoagh , @univision23 , @tiagostacos for your appreciation in giving back to the Metro-Dade firefighters that put their lives on the line everyday 🔥🚒

Two years ago today we lost 98 lives and we’re all impacted by the tragedy that struck on June 24, 2021 in the early morning. Our community still has not healed and we will never. I pray every single day for all the families who had to go through this, and all the first responders who worked day and night. I still remember the first day being near the site it will never erase itself from my mind. We are forever #surfsidestrong ! 🙏🏻
