Reasons why I love staying @movenpickhotelauckland for fashion week….

So close to the venue! That extra 30 mins of sleep/work/getting ready before a show was so helpful

My desk for the week made me feel like Carrie B

The staff are so amazing and they have an ice cream cart in the lobby for hotel guests! Every night when I came home, we’d have a little chat and then they gave me a scoop of ice cream and I would go back into my suite and go through my camera roll, write, work etc and this little sweet treat kept me going after a loooooong day

I’ve always loved this view at Boda which has a Michelin Bib Gourmand now!

Buffet breakfast with a city view to start the day right

The perfect solo dinner on nights I didn’t want to do room service. Having an in-house restaurant with a Michelin Bib Gourmand made me feel so fancy

The Sundae Service. A literal button on the phone you can call for a sundae 24/7. My favourite is the Mont Blanc.

Me calling for ice cream before I needed to checkout today

Comfy beds! I’m very picky with hotel beds. There are some luxury hotels I actually don’t like sleeping in because of their beds but the Movenpick beds are incredible!!

CHOCOLATE HAPPY HOUR! Everyday from 3 - 4, they bring out chocolate treats for guests and you can just hang out here and drink tea and have a little afternoon tea for free if you’re staying in the hotel

It changes everyday and I made it a few times in between shows and it was so good

The perfect suite to hang out in between shows

And host my friends in between for chill time and non verbal phone time

And a big space for friends to come over and tidy your room cos you’ve been a bit messy…

This view. Wow!

Lots of space for fashion emergencies

The best, most helpful team of people working so hard to give everyone an amazing experience. It’s 5 star hospitality that still feels warm and cosy

They had this waiting for me when I got into the suite and I wanted to cry. My home away from home! Until next time @movenpickhotelauckland x x

Part 2/3 - Not everything is announced.
Some things are shared… quietly.

The first yes.
The first few people to know.

Before the world sees it.
